No one has went into meltdown mode as far as I can see. We’ve been rank rotten today and posters have described the performance as such. I don’t see anything wrong with that.
That’s it exactly you can’t celebrate goals now and that feeling of pure elation has been ripped away by VAR. Every goal you score you’re just waiting to see the ref with his finger to his ear and the screens showing “Checking possible whatever”.
Never mind spend more money and upgrade it, just get it in the fucking bin.
Going by the rules it is the correct decision but it’s just this jobsworth examining every single goal with a magnifying glass to find the slightest thing that’s the issue.
VAR was brought in to correct “clear and obvious” errors but that along with the one that went our way last week was not “clear and obvious”.
If we ditched VAR tomorrow I would be delighted. It is a cancer of modern football.
