Motherwell 0-3 Celtic Another game where we fail to score from open play.

Been on the fence but he has to go now for me. Two pathetic displays against by far the worst team in the league this season. 1 win in 9 and look in serious danger of slipping down the league.

Fair play making comments like that when the season’s over and we’re sitting comfortably but in our current form I can only see this adding more pressure onto his back if (when?) we lose on Saturday.

I understood his frustration on Saturday. Two identical fouls in the middle of the park. First one on the Motherwell player, no yellow card. 30 seconds later, same foul committed the other way round and a yellow card for Motherwell. I’d be raging on the touchline too. Kettlewell complains and gets booked. Far too often though he goes unnecessarily overboard. Thankfully he won’t pick up any cards this weekend.

Sounds like a decent payday for the club missed out on in the next round, but one less trip to the away end at Ibrox doesn’t exactly bother me.

This is exactly where I am. I keep hoping he’ll change it. At what point is he forced to. It would be insanity to go up to Perth next week and setup the exact same way but tbh it would’ve been insanity to set up the same way after watching Killie and Hibs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agree re Kettlewell. It was the same with Hammell, Alexander and towards the end of Robinson’s time. I want him to do well but it’s hard having watched the last few games. Hearts, Kilmarnock and Hibs are 3 hard away games so I was giving him the benefit of doubt but today was a winnable game and the manner of the defeat makes it hard to not be critical of him.

Kettlewell’s inability and unwillingness to change the system when it’s clearly not working will be his demise. The away performances this year have been abysmal. Over £100 spent on tickets, 1 goal scored and little football played.

I agree. I just think our end is inevitable. We’ve been getting lucky for years.

This squad is destined to go down with or without Hammell in charge.

I profoundly remember us nicking that point after a brutal 89 minutes of football, Celtic missed a penalty too, much sweeter [emoji16]

The last time I recall us coming even close to beating them was the 1-1 draw shortly after the LC final, toxic atmosphere and something to prove after the final, of course another game ruined by a dubious refereeing decision.

Hopefully Hammell’s taking no risks with Moult / Efford before Wednesday but today is going to be a real struggle, a poor looking bench too.
