We had to go for it at half time and didn’t. We’ve conceded the most goals of any team in the league since the turn of the year, being over reliant on our defence when we really didn’t need to be was an absolute killer today and has been for the past 4 months.

Our squad has improved from last season but that says more about how bad we were then. The defence needs an entire clear out in the summer and we need to add to the midfield and attack.

A really really poor decision from the club. Burrows excuse about “Saturday games” is pathetic.

I don’t understand why we go with the 5-2-3. If he doesn’t trust the defence (who can blame him) then why sacrifice a body in the midfield when you’ve got 3 players up top getting very poor (if any) service.

It’s a really easy decision for the board... if he didn’t (rightly or wrongly) get a 3 year deal in January.

The infuriating part is he’ll survive this thanks to a premature contract extension handed out by the club.

It’s mostly taken out of Alexander’s hands by Mugabi’s recklessness. Taking Ojala off (I’m struggling to remember a worse footballer) for SOD was the right call. Waiting until the 81st minute to make an attacking change is completely bizarre to me. Season finished.

Failing to beat the worst team in the league when they’re depleted and don’t even have a striker making it 10 without a win is acceptable for you? How long will this be acceptable for? 12 games? 15?

Alexander has to go tonight, don’t care if he recently got a new contract.

Have to win today. Defensively won’t be great as usual but it’s about whether we turn up at the other end that will determine if we’re still in the cup come 17:30.

Surely there isn’t a team in the league with a worse record vs the OF in recent years than us?

We never seem to have a plan against the OF at home. Tactically we gamble on seeing out the first 45-60 minutes before really having a go. It was clear to see we were riding our luck and betting on Celtic running out of steam. Rarely it works, usually you end up getting beat 1-6 or 0-4. Another pathetic surrender to the old firm at our own ground.

GA’s tactical approach in these games costs us again. No point in showing up.

Our next 4 league games are hugely difficult and on current form it’s hard to see which of them we’ll pick up points from. It’s difficult to see anything other than a Celtic win tomorrow. Not only are they playing really well and we aren’t at the moment but we haven’t had the mentality to win these games for a long while.

I’d agree if they were playing anyone other than one of the OF.

Missed the St Johnstone game due to work so looking forward to being back at Fir Park for the first time since November. Caught 70 minutes of the game on Saturday thanks to a stream and thought we looked really comfortable and in no danger of losing the points, hoping we can carry that on. Livingston are just one of those teams that dig out a result when they’re not really expected to but with how we’ve played the last couple of weeks, can only see a Well win. He earned some points. Unfortunately for him they were on his license and not the league table.

Some refs just don’t have the bottle to give split-second big decisions against the OF, maybe if things are slowed down and they have time to breathe and look at it again then we’ll see some change. More likely, I think it’ll confirm referee bias in the country but then what. It’s not like anyone is going to do anything about it.

This is how I expected us to play from the first whistle.

Played really well for about 25 minutes of the half. Last 10 we really fell back, thought we were just going to get through it, sickener to concede.
