  1. Outstanding performance in the second half and thoroughly deserved result.
  2. Delighted for Efford. His form recently has been markedly better than last season, and he deserves that goal for his efforts and assists.
  3. That’s another 45 mins of Shields offering absolutely nothing. I’ve said it before; he’s now into year two of a three-year deal and has not proved to be a Premiership-level player yet.
  4. Slattery being back is a major boost, and let’s hope Efford continues his decent form playing wide on the right attacking too. On the other hand, Shields getting a start again is a mystery to me. He offers nothing.
  5. We've badly missed Slattery recently. Maguire and Shields are Championship level at best, and Morris is a complete donkey. Our recent signings need (time) to step up and make an impact.
  6. Morris is an imposter. That free kick had Penney's name written all over it. Hammell needs to have a word with himself.
  7. Maguire offers nothing, but we’re stuck with him until May 2024.
  8. The Penney love is because we've not had a proper left back for years.
  9. Six weeks later. Some thoughts: Has Hammy finally booted Morris and now Shields out of the match day squad? It would seem so. Efford is much improved now that he is playing as an attacker on the right side. Injured now, however. If Lamie is toast after today, we badly need another central defender. I notice he's also now the vice captain. We singed McKinstry, Aarons, and Moult, so that's the 3 forward players we needed, although Aarons is now injured. New LB is great. Goss is the creative midfielder we hoped he would become. We just need to be more clinical in front of goal now and hope our injury list isn't too bad.
  10. Penney is starting to impress. Better than all other LBs we've got combined.
  11. The vitriol and sycophancy on display from both sides are equally nauseating. This is a football forum. Move on.
  12. The Reserve League has returned after a 2-year hiatus. Our first match saw us field many first team players, which is a good way to keep the benchwarmers match-fit and the young boys on their toes.
  13. That game was as frustrating as it was enjoyable. We battered them 0-0. Onwards.
  14. He's 'home' and my eyes are very wet.
  15. I would argue that we (decent members of society) should be campaigning to bring down the corrupt government at Westminster before we start to revert to an early 20th century lifestyle to mitigate impacts of cost/shortage. Scotland is a net exporter of energy, yet we are shafted. The solution doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out.
  16. Aarons and McKinstry are really positive signings if we can get the best out of them, but we still need another capable first-team striker.
  17. We are completely hamstrung by the mess left by Alexander. It’ll take 2-3 windows to get past his legacy of shit. Our attacking options rely solely on KVV, so we need to sign a first team striker to start playing with him immediately. Otherwise, we will remain blunt and toothless. My assessment: Morris is woeful. Send him packing back to Alexander. Efford is complete mince. Get rid. Shields is into year 2 of his 3-year deal, and is evidently not good enough for this level. Tierney needs game time, but isn’t good enough to start or affect games yet. Send him out on loan until January. Mahon is a boy, not a first team player. We also need a commanding centre back and a controlling midfielder. Did I mention that I hate Alexander? An arrogant imposter of a manager.
  18. Fanny by Gaslight. It’s beside the train station.
  19. A good player does not make a good manager. GA is a fraud.
  20. 'more new faces' = plural = striker and midfielder?
  21. Unfortunately for Efford, the evidence suggests that his brain and legs aren't connecting.
