Six pointer ✅
-
Dundee have scored 39 and conceded 58 so far this season. We’ve scored 30 and conceded 46. They may have scored more than us, but we’ve conceded less, and our goal difference is slightly better. It’s certainly going to be a tight game with both teams likely to score.
-
Aye. I know that me and a few other ST pals are using the £3 offer to bring other non-ST pals. It should be a decent crowd.
-
McGhee was a Kettlewell signing, but we have to hope that Wimmer can get a tune out of him and several other new players next season. The Kettlewell hangover will remain for 18+ months, but note that I’m not directing that at McGhee, as he could be an excellent versatile player for us.
-
I’m a ST holder but rarely make it to midweek games due to work/family/etc., but I’m not missing this one. I’m thoroughly looking forward to supporting Wimmer and the team tonight.
-
Daws should've been gone alongside Alexander. A whole topic was started at that time. And here is my tuppence worth from back then.
-
Looking at the bottom half of the league table, as well as considering recent form and events, this game could not be any more of a six pointer. Anything less than a victory will only worsen the death spiral.
-
Our injury list is almost laughable. The sooner this season is over, and the clear out taken place, the better.
-
As I said previously, it’ll take at least 18 months for Wimmer to undo the damage Kettlewell has done. The only positive from yesterday is that Wimmer got to see some of that shite with his own eyes.

A lot of users of this forum are more interested in criticising the poster rather than engaging with the substance of the posts. We can all be guilty of it at times, but feck me, it’s exhausting.

Are you Kettlewell?
-
‘maybe held his hands up’
-
A common criticism of Kettlewell was his inability to learn. He won’t learn from this. A leopard never changes its spots.
-
Wee Al was class for us, and he thoroughly deserved his move to Luton in the Championship at that point.
-
I was right, you are the criticism police. Glad to have you engaged in ‘legitimate criticism’, although perhaps lacking a constructive strand.
-
Again, were you at the game? Probably not. But for the avoidance of doubt, ‘getting booed’ in a football context can mean boos and shouts and jeers, etc. It’s a generic term. Regardless, solely booing someone or something can also be a way for a person or group of people to express legitimate criticism if they choose to do so. Are you the legitimate criticism police?

Cammy Murray died yesterday. Following his footballing career, he became a local legend in Lanarkshire, teaching PE to generations of kids at Lanark Grammar.
-
SOD was getting booed by the East Stand for making several obvious stupid mistakes against Ross County. At one point, his response was to just give the thumbs up to those fans. Perhaps he would get more fans on his side if he maybe held his hands up at these moments instead of giving sarcastic responses to legitimate criticism.
-
He's making an arse of himself. Long may it continue.
-
That's two wingbacks where one isn't a wingback and the other isn't very good. I'd be inclined to bring Wilson back in at LWB and try Koutroumbis at RWB, or persevere with Sparrow over SOD. And hell yes to Ward.
-
I don’t imagine Kettlewell’s overt and fragrant narcissism will allow him to take a job beneath Motherwell in the Championship.
-
Don’t back down, double down. What a total tit of a man he is.
-
Your optimism is admirable.
-
Yep. I said as much on the Dundee Utd match thread. It’ll be at least next season until we start to see his philosophy properly deployed, as I doubt our massive squad is capable of much more than some polished Kettleball for the rest of this season.
-
The supertanker will be scrapped during the summer, thankfully. Until then, if he can get them pressing high (aka defending from the front) and more active, we may just stop haemorrhaging goals and may nick a few more instead. He’s got a massive job on his hands.
