  1. A lot of Wimmer’s ‘plans’ will now probably be in the bin, whatever they were.
  2. This is where I’ve got concerns. If, like some suggest, he’s been working his ticket for the past few weeks, with his end goal of leaving the club having already been decided in his head, then how much of his talk and action on squad preparation and recruitment for next season have just been him paying lip service? Was his heart in it? Etc etc. He’s not fully left us in the lurch per se. However, we now have to recruit a new manager and several new players, but who knows in what order that will now happen. With safety secured, it could still easily be argued that we’re now in a pretty weak place when it comes to getting things right for the next two seasons, at least. Dundee and Killie are probably in a similar place, but less so given different contexts. That said, this summer is going to be helluva exciting on the forums now. Almost Barmackesque.
  3. Being a ‘Well fan is absolutely hilarious fun these days. What next?!
  4. Get it in the bin. That was my response to the survey.
  5. Should we expect the annual GTF list to be published today?
  6. Nice header. I’m pleased for Moses.
  7. This one up top business just won’t do. SOD and Balcombe are also shite, and Thompson is no better/worse than Wilson. Thank feck this season is over.
  8. Based on current form, and if Miller leaves, Slattery will be our most important/valuable asset. We should look after that.
  9. Armstrong wants to stay: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cpw724w7kqxo
  10. Your replies to my posts suggest you do engage with my opinion, so, as you say, keep being you...
  11. Exactly. I’m really looking forward to next season for that very reason.
  12. Armstrong has done well across his time with us and I certainly wouldn’t be upset if we were to sign him up.
  13. Did you watch the first half and the majority of the second half? The very concept of a final ball eluded the entire team until SOD of all people managed to put in a great cross for the first goal. So, yeh, apart from 3 great goals in the last 15 minutes against 10 men, the outfield team struggled to do the basics for the most part last night. Silly emojis in response to others’ opinions won’t change that.
  14. Slattery 2.0 is currently a joy to watch. More of this next season, please.
  15. Kettlewell is most likely to do a Gannon and end up as a used car salesman. His verbose nature would lend itself well to such a career.
  16. He’s gone now and that alone should stand as a warning to the current and future members of the WS and Executive Boards.
  17. Whilst it’s disappointing, the 15% turnout suggests that WS members care less for the mechanics of the society than they do for its ongoing existence and purpose of protecting the club from nefarious/decrepit individuals.
  18. The ‘new Fadi’… Jesus Christ, the Scum is grim. Fadinger is mainly used as a central or attacking midfielder. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lukas-fadinger/profil/spieler/394018
  19. Another letdown incoming with the usual suspects making an arse of the basics.
  20. Unless Wimmer can find a way to nullify McGinn’s extension and Gordon’s contract, then of course he will have to build a defence around them next season.
  21. SOD is shite and should be nowhere near the starting eleven next season. The rest of the defence can go and we build around McGinn and Gordon.
  22. Wimmer needs to wake up before he dishes out anymore contracts to any of this mob. Hopefully today is that day.
  23. Thompson has been rotten since day one. Wimmer better not offer him a contract.
  24. Absolute dogshit. Half these players are either asleep or not good enough, and Wimmer looks to be persisting with and/or resigning a lot of them. Same again next season, aye?!
