I chose the digital season ticket option when I renewed in May, as I couldn't be arsed with the physical card anymore. I just received an email today with links to download the digital pass either via Apple or Google Wallet, so that's my season ticket now safely downloaded and stored in my Apple Wallet. Very straightforward.

A pathetic 'statement' prompted by many fans pointing out the Club's failure to post the Well Society's plan on the Club's socials yesterday. Get it right fucking up McMahon and cronies, and good riddance when it comes.

8 new singings, 1 new loanee, and 2 loans to permanent, all before the pre-season games have finished and the League Cup has started. WTF is going on?! Rhetorical question. The transfer window is open for another 2 months, so, as others note, there will likely be some more movements in and out, particularly once we see how the current crop performs during the cup games. I expect Bair and, lesser so this window, Miller to be sold, some young boys (e.g. Ferrie, Wells, Ross) to go out on loan, and 14 wingbacks to come in on loan.

It’s pretty telling that the Club haven’t used their social media channels to promote the Well Society’s plan today. They were happy to push the Barmack offer on their socials. McMahon really is a dictator. However, to give some acknowledgement, the Club have published it on their website, although it’s now buried beneath the new signing news. https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/well-society/

Personal highlights, which I read as a fuck you to the Chairman and his cronies, are: A new shareholder agreement, drafted to ensure any ambiguity in the relationship between the majority shareholder and Club is removed. The appointment of new directors to the Club board to faithfully advocate the views of the membership commensurate with our 71.7% shareholding.

I've now read these plans twice. The document is realistic and encouraging, and I'm delighted with its quality. The new Well Society Board has got its shit together big time, which is commendable given the aggressive pressure from the conniving Chairman and unfair time constraints. As a member of the Well Society since 2017, I say well done to all involved, and I look forward to these plans coming to fruition. Anyone who still wishes to vote in favour of Barmack's (and the Chairman's) pie-in-the-sky proposal after reading the Well Society's sensible plans for both the Society and Club should seriously reconsider their support of MFC and their grasp on reality.

Obviously. Or Charles Dunne will kill him.

The Well Society newsletter just dropped. The key point is as follows: The Well Society Board remains of the view that members should vote against the proposal. We will be issuing further communications on this next week, including details of drop-in 'surgeries' we are currently planning. Next week, we will also be launching our extensive strategy for the Well Society and Motherwell Football Club, and we look forward to sharing that with you very soon.

He looks set to be a potentially brilliant signing for us. Just look at what West Ham says about him. https://www.whufc.com/news/krisztian-hegyi-signs-contract-extension-and-joins-motherwell-loan

New keeper, Krisztián Hegyi. Let’s hope he's hung(a)ry for crosses. Szia!

Has anyone seen the new home kit in the flesh yet? I’m struggling to decide whether it’s a belter or a minger.

Signing a player with a known injury. That's classic Motherwell.

Aston Oxborough...

Kelly to the rangers is almost confirmed.

The Executive Board is dividing the fanbase through their underhand actions, and it’s clear to me that's what McMahon wants as it allows him to succeed. If Barmack is successful, he inherits a divided club, and the Well Society dies. That outcome will create a very real threat to the long-term existence of the club as we know it. Good luck, Erik! Unfortunately, I don't think a lot of fans realise this or are capable of figuring this out, or are perhaps just too selfish to care, but that's what happens when you mix morons (see Facebook/Twitter) with democracy.

The Well Society update, 25 June 2024, states that further info and their business plan are coming soon.

I repeat, forget about the forthcoming wean and offer your services to the Well Society Board 👍

Let's hope we're both proven wrong.

That is a fair point, which I generally agree with. I've said elsewhere that the WS seem to have been resting on their laurels for years, not understanding the members or being able to quantify who does and does not financially contribute, etc. And now the WS Board has to react against adversity through no fault of the new generation of members. However, I see this situation as being down to the previous WS Board and their remit/(in)ability/constraints. Now, I look at the current WS Board as a new generation, which will hopefully get things right moving forward with a fresh slate, but it won't happen overnight. It's theirs to lose.
-
No, I just can't be arsed debating with someone hellbent on not giving the new Well Society board members a chance to produce their forthcoming business plan. You've already made up your mind about the new WS board, as I've done with Kettlewell, so that'll be that then.

I think you should just join the Foundation of Hearts. Dunno. I also don't know what their favourite foods are.
