  1. Do you think getting put out of the cup to a team in a lower league will lead to a surge in confidence? I don't.
  2. You heard it here first. Our failure to progress in two cups will see his contract renewed because we're 'too skint' to aspire for or afford something better.
  3. Yes, most of the players were shite tonight. However, most will probably agree with me that Kettlewell was outsmarted by Imrie tonight and that that was the genesis of the poor team performance.
  4. Why don't you tell me why it isn't inevitable?
  5. The next four games in February are against Aberdeen, Hearts, Celtic, and Livi. After tonight's tactical masterclass and the inevitable battering that has given to the confidence, I don't see us picking up points anytime soon. I'm completely done with this regime. It's as devastatingly shite as it is predictable.
  6. Getting outfoxed by Imrie should be Kettlewell’s final humiliation. Get him to fuck.
  7. Yep. As good as we were on Tuesday, County were bad. Tonight is the real test.
  8. This is so Motherwell. Sublime to shite. Morton deserve to be in front. As I said to my pal before the goal, Imrie should instruct his players to put the ball into Kelly every single time. He's a weak link.
  9. It's on BBC Scotland at 19.30. Get a VPN and go to BBC iPlayer.
  10. I agree. Shaw offered the square root of fuck all and Kettlewell has rewarded him for that. Let's hope it's a new year, a new him.
  11. County, and every other eegit on the planet, would do well to remember that an ex is an ex for a reason.
  12. If your beloved sash encourages Halliday to score a hat trick against his sash-loving bedfellow, Imrie, then let the inevitable happen. 😉
  13. Special mention to Davor for running three hundred thousand miles and covering every blade of grass tonight. He's tidy and feisty and does most of the vital grunt work.
  14. If he gets them playing like they did tonight against Morton and a few more times this season, he may even convert me into a fanboy.
  15. If tonight has taught us anything, we should all cancel our Well Society subs and fund the 'Blair Spittal 5-year contract' pot instead. I've said it before somewhere on this forum, but he's probably our most important player.
  16. Same team, formation and tactics, then some super subs once we're 10-0 up.
  17. Spittal turned it up to 11 tonight.
  18. I agree. Two wins this week will see the tables turn in his favour.
  19. I didn't refer to you individually. I spoke of increasing levels of apologists on here and i likened it to a mass onset of Stockholm syndrome. I engage in critical debate with many individuals here, and I have strong options, but I'm also sorry if you've felt personally targeted. I try not to get personal, except for calling the manager or players shite or brilliant. The main point of my reply to your post on the Daws thread was ultimately to pick you up on your view that we aren't currently in a slump, because I think we most definitely are. At the end of the day, I don't care if I’m in the minority when it comes to calling for Kettlewell to get the sack, and I don't care if others disagree with me, but it's a public forum so I will continue to espouse that view and try to back it up. And that leads to direct debate with others on here, as you know. Again, sorry if my post seemed personal. I'll try to rethink my wording in the future.
  20. Speaking of poultry, the average hen lays more eggs in less than a week than we've won games all season.
  21. If we do win tomorrow, that's all that matters. The next step would be to beat Morton. Those outcomes would shift the narrative to 4 wins & 3 draws in 7 consecutive games (including the cup) since the Rangers defeat, which would be positive. It's that simple; we need to start winning more games, and certainly more than the 2 in 20 (league and cup) we've seen on the recent run.

    The Pitch

The pitch has recently looked far worse than in previous years following the significant investment, but, as others have noted, I am sure there is a reasonable explanation for this beyond the new groundsman being shit.
  23. I didn't realise we had emerged from the one win in nineteen slump. The increasing level of Kettlewell apologists on this forum reminds me of a creeping and mass onset of Stockholm syndrome. Let's hope he proves me wrong come the end of the season.
