  1. His short-sighted inflexibility has proven that he doesn't think.
  2. I imagine the players will be feeling the pain and struggle of their nice wages as well.
  3. Given our growing injury list comprising the better of our players and our generally shite squad, I see St Johnstone winning this game.
  4. It was difficult to tell whether it was his ankle or knee from the camera angles, but it looked a bad one regardless.
  5. Looked like a high impact ankle collision with Mooy. A sore one.
  6. Our strike force is now Morris and Shields. Bloody hell.
  7. It’s getting worse. Morris on for McKinstry.
  8. He’ll still manage to contribute the square root of fuck all.
  9. Lots of focus on terrible refereeing and VAR, but those issues are known and secondary to us just being utterly shite.
  10. It would be a shame if we let these shite imposter players colour our view of Hammy. In truth, I think the issue is that some of them are just too crap to be able to be coached into players good enough to do the basics.
  11. We turned into that a long time ago.
  12. Watch Slattery completely fail to run and make the challenge. Embarrassing.
  13. Moult has done more in a few mins than Shields has done in his entire Well career.
  14. I genuinely feel sorry for Hammell. He’s inherited the biggest pile of shite I’ve ever witnessed as a Well fan.
  15. We're continuing to be rotten all over the park. For example, we can't take our chances and we can't do the basic defending when under pressure. KVV and Slattery should be at least testing the keeper today, and Halliday should never be able to bully Lamie off the ball to score a header like that. Embarrassing stuff. Hammy needs to terrify them at halftime.
  16. The most apt description I've read of Shields so far. McHugh 91 appearances, 8 goals = 1 goal every 11 games Shields 44 appearances, 3 goals = 1 goal every 15 games
  17. Before casting aspersions, perhaps some here would benefit from reading up on football contract law and figuring out the definition of 'mutual' in the context of my point about being creative to offload in-contract players. https://www.easportslaw.com/news/terminating-a-contract-between-football-club-and-a-player https://www.easportslaw.com/news/unilateral-termination-of-a-football-players-contract
  18. I would suggest that writing “You’ve had it explained to you further up the page” is incredibly patronising, particularly when zero tangible evidence is presented to support that explanation. Perhaps if it was coming from an actual manager or agent then maybe not. Just because someone asserts an opinion on a forum, it doesn’t make it fact. It’s just opinions, and they’re all valid in the context of a football forum inhabited by mouth-breathing morons.
  19. Alright. You’ve explained it to me. I’m wrong.
