I voted no as i felt we weren’t good enough for large parts of the season and that ultimately cost us a place in the top 6 we didn’t even finish 7th which is my absolute minimum for a decent season. Our cup performances were shocking. We did have some real good moments in the season and I enjoyed them and will look back on those fondly, but we failed to capitalise I thought after we beat Livi and Rangers and played really well that week we’d turned a corner and would charge up the league but then we ran out of steam.

I’ve had time to think about the season and my reflection is that we had some really good moments that comeback against Hibs, beating hearts at tynecastle beating rangers, livi away County at home, however we’ve had some real lows that 15 game run, Morton, St Mirren League Cup it’s been a very poor season in terms of entertainment. I think the 22/23 season was a massive red flag in terms of we were doomed if Kettlewell didn’t take over and do the job he did when Hammell was sacked. But we recruited rather poorly in the summer and rectified it with a few additions in the January. We need to get this window right and I’m hoping to see a much improved defence and midfield next season. We desperately need to replace. the 23/24 was perhaps steadier but also a step back and the league table tells you that. It was a season where we stayed up ultimately but we should be trying to bridge the gap next season on Killie and st Mirren

On the Kelly subject he’s played for us for a bit im not convinced he was the worst but far from the best. I don’t think it’s a position we should have much trouble covering. We need a defence and a midfield however. I do hope that Kettlewell signs some wide attackers as well I sometimes think we need to change our shape up or at least give ourselves the option to change it up.

For me it’s the first time I’m getting to our final league game of the season since 2017 so I’m looking forward to the novelty. I do hope however we get a nice win to send us home happy.

Aye but can he do a football on Saturday

Came home and thought about it as was a point that felt like a defeat. Thought both sides were poor and the goal we gave away was extremely poor. We again looked devoid of urgency or any attacking guile. It’d be nice to get a win or two before the split but I can’t see it. We desperately need a rebuild and an overhaul. Our recruitment team are certainly going to have to sing for their supper in the transfer window.

No passion no effort we carved a couple good chances in the second half. Not helped by a poor refereeing performance mark ferrie needs another year at least of development football no where near first team ready and our manager should see that. Extremely poor today. I try to give us the benefit of the doubt and I’ll praise us when we do well but that was guff. If we played like that against a good team we’d be deservedly turned over at a canter
-
In all seriousness a fantastic performance by every single player they all played for each other and got a well deserved result and they did the badge and the team proud today and long May it continue we’ve had 3 excellent performances this week and these are the standards I hope we keep striving for they’ve shown their capable of it. absoloutely buzzing tonight and so proud to be a well fan.

Sooo a knight hood for Dan Casey for scoring the winner at Ibrox in order?

When I say football people I mean people who can take the club forward in terms of on the pitch. The club needs some fresh eyes from a business and financial perspective. Tell me if we want to compete and keep hold of our better players or sign some quality players how can we do that on our current model.
-
I’m increasingly of the opinion that the fan ownership thing just isn’t working I think having partial fan ownership and a seat at the table and the society as a safety net/ top up for the club isn’t a bad idea. if the well society owned 35% say and the private investors own 21% that still leaves 44% that we can sell and have an owner who can maybe have a more sustainable operating model that’ll help increase the quality of player we can afford. I’d be quite happy for that. I’d still carry on paying my monthly fee in any case. But we need football people in running the club.

Nicholson for me scored one and assisted one. Played some nice stuff on the ball too. Thought at points him and SOD linked up well

Really am not expecting a win but I’d be thoroughly delighted with a point. It’ll be a hard task but it’s also a free hit for us so I hope we at least approach the game in a positive manner

You were never going to get 100% of the fan base or society voting on this. We’re a niche of a niche most motherwell supporters aren’t on fan forums and wondering about the day to day operations at the club or investment. Same with most clubs most fans are a go to the home games or the home games they can maybe a cup final if the club gets there and then you have the more active support. More active support tends to be the ones who spend time on fan forums and wonder about the running of the club and sustainability. an example is in my own house I’m very active in my support a Saturday isn’t a Saturday if I’m not at the match, I listen to the pressers and read the opinions on here and share the odd one here and there. I pay my money to the society, I even went as far as to think about the vote for a day or two before submitting my decision. my partner on the other hand comes to the games and enjoys the game and that’s her done with it until the next week and If I didn’t go to the away games she wouldn’t independently go to those. I imagine most of the support is the same at most clubs. so I’m not surprised at the turn out being just below a thousand. That’s almost 1/4 of our average home attendance which is about level with what I’d expect.

Great turnaround I was dismayed at half time but we came out and did what was required if we’re to have any hope on Saturday we need to be on it from the first minute
-
We look second best to everything so far not good enough
-
What a performance from the team deserved 5-0 win I’d funnily enough joked with my friend at the match we’d win 6-0 guess I wasn’t far off. Spittal gave the best performance from a midfielder in a motherwell jersey in years well done to him.
-
See what happens when we shoot in the box. I just hope we keep it up in the second half as they’re there for the taking. Would be good to cook some venison here.

A Harvey dent?

I love the club and I love the team but we need to start playing before the f hour mark we played excellent and for the last 60 minutes or so of that game were the far better side and we should be celebrating a 1-0 win not a draw. Big match on Tuesday hope we get a win there.

Thank fook for Theo

Kettlewell has to stop this 541 experiment I’m not convinced 352 is any better needs to play something simple with some wingers we lack creativity and we lack a goal threat and our defending is about as ropey as a drunks stomach after a dodgy curry
