  1. A good performance and a win to hopefully settle the nerves of some of our more restless elements of the support. Doubt KVV will play but if he does let’s see what version comes on the motivated goal scorer or the stroppy canny be arsed moving lazy bugger. Won’t be cheering him he’s left us now and not our player. Let’s just get behind the lads.
  2. Let’s give the lad a couple games before writing him off eh? Welcome to the club Jack hope he helps us out with a few goals before the end of season
  3. Absolutely no to being a feeder or having a parent club. I’d rather we do our thing and have a team that is represetive of the town and we’ll have good seasons and we’ll have shite seasons like every other club at this level. Wasn’t too long hearts where down as were teams like Kilmarnock Dundee and Hearts and Hibs. We haven’t gone down yet. For the last forty year almost even our bad seasons are miles ahead of likes of Morton or Clyde or Airdrie. We aren’t that bad. I’m not saying it’s perfect but work within the market and try find a few gems every season or two and have some hard working players around them and more years than not you’ll do fine.
  4. Got my shift covered for it and got the tickets today hate that it’s not a Saturday at 3 as I use my annual leave and switch shifts to make as many as I can but hopefully some tv money helps out. I hope we put in a big performance here and our new striker scores a hat trick. Come on the well
  5. I heard on the forwards front were looking at hee haw but we’re more interested in his Texan cousin Yee Haw
  6. Was just trying to inject some pin filled fun because this is dire
  7. Second half can we take the sting out of their goal and get ourselves in the lead and get fir park buzzing.
  8. Looking forward to it. I always feel a tie against an Alloa or lower league oposition should be winnable but can be a banana skin. It’s a one off game for them we’ll have to be on it and respect Alloa enough to beat them. I’m expecting a 2-1 win in this win. Think it’ll be a bit nervy.
  9. I’m clearly a minority here I actually liked the video it gave me a good chuckle. I’ve said for ages I’d like them to try something and we’ll……….. this is something. I’ll trust it’s been focus grouped and there’s been some test to check that the target demographic would find this appealing.
  10. I imagine they’ll be on sale by the Scottish cup game. It’s usually a good day out at st Johnston. If you don’t think of the result but hopefully we come away with a good result
  11. I listened to this last night and thought about it and was a rather honest and transparent view of the situation and as someone who pays into the well society I’d love more of this even just once a year as long as it’s honest. At times I’ve felt over the past year or year and a half like somethings not been right but this goes a good way to reassuring us. It’s a here’s what we’ve got right and the why while putting their hands up and saying what could have been better which is all I really wanted was some transparency and open dialogue about the club.
  12. I think we won’t see anyone achieve what Robbo did I said at the time we let him walk we were making a mistake. But we are where we are and I’ll hope kettlewell comes good for us and has us doing as best we can
  13. I always think when we sack managers who’s out there that’s better. Kettlewell we at least play some decent football. Something we didn’t do under Hammell after the christmas break. And hadn’t done under Alexander at all. people talk about pedigree but let’s be honest our options are young up and coming managers or old heads who have failed elsewhere im always in the camp of a young manager who’s willing to work and improve and give them a chance like Robinson and Alexander and Baraclough where even Kettlewell. Those are more ambitious appointments than appointing say Tommy Wright or John Hughes.
  14. I genuinely think Mugabi isn’t a bad cb. He’s guilty of having the odd bad game but he’s usually not bad and does offer a goal threat from set pieces
  15. And now 1-0 down put it on at work to listen to and now wishing I hadn’t bothered. Sounds of it we’ve not offered much going forward is that about right?
  16. Surely giving some young boys a go in natural positions would be better than playing folk out of position. Spittal and Blair showed they can be a good partnership we should be encouraging that surely
  17. Either a draw or a win would be a good result for us away from home. I do think if we can find some pace and feed the ball through to Bair I think we’ll come out good.
  18. I hope to god Theo and Blair never create this monstrosity
  19. In all fairness to bair I think he might be coming into a game he got an asssist couple weeks back for bierith against st Johnston and looked threatening against st mirren and he was great in the first half today and involved in all 3 goals.
  20. I think the real Theo bair is being held under the main stand and Kettlewells found a look a like who can play. Seems a much more plausible explanation
  21. Seen in the championship Cedric Kipre having a game against Leeds some good physical defending from the big man and Marvin Johnson scored a winner for sheff wed against Preston. closer to home a certain Mr Tony Watt scored a goal against Partick and former captain Declan Gallachers playing as well big day for former players getting featured on the TV.
  22. I guess I don’t know what the best way of setting this team up is. I try to just trust the people employed by the club to do that. I am quite critical of our recruitment but there’s only so much changing managers we can do really before we become an unattractive proposition for managers.
  23. I’m expecting internally to be disappointed but I acknowledge we’re not down until we’re mathematically down.
  24. I had to watch the game on sky I thought the goals we gave away were poor. I don’t think we troubled there keeper at all and our best chance was slatterys distanced effort that went just wide. Punished for 2 of our mistakes today in the first half. But our season won’t be defined by what we do against rangers or Celtic this season. 4 points needed from the next two onwards and upwards Mon The Well.
