I`m usually glass half full, but looking at that table tonight and the shower of losers in that team gives me the total fear.
-
How can this team get a result at Ibrox(albeit they were poor) and play decent football into the bargain and end up with this??? Wimmer has a lot to do this summer....if we stay up!

A very good point was made in the Facebook post last night about the amount of abuse Kettlewell dished out to the ref/linesman/4th officals resulting in his numerous red cards. A bit two faced of him if you ask me. This is just a total mess and Caldwell has done us no favours at all.
-
Indeed. Just re watched the highlights on You Tube and on being interviewed after the game the first thing out his mouth was about what an atmosphere the Rangers fans made it. Utter tosspot of a manager.
-
Big Joe Carson scored the second if my memory is correct.
-
Yip, I agree with that post.

How many will be willing to apply when they see the abuse the manager of a "community club" receives. I was behind him, right up until after the semi, but the football was turgid. I wish him all the best for the future.

We should start an Ayrshire branch. That`s at least 4 of us I know of.😁
-
Sorry, you`re absolutely right, St Johnstone.
-
I will continue to support him for now, although after the Rangers cup semi, was the first time I had doubts about him. The chance to go out and have a go at a weak Rangers team was lost to his defensive leanings. On the whole his signings have been poor, although tempered by the market we are dealing in it could be a slight mitigation. However his team selections and subs are baffling at times. Continue to support him for now, but for the first time since he took over, I`m wavering.

Hearts and Ross County at home?
-
I`ve been behind Kettlewell since day 1, but since the Rangers cup semi, he`s quickly losing any goodwill I have towards him. Tactics are bloody awful, and to set up the way we did against Ross County and Hibs is nothing short of disgraceful. No wonder the crowds are dwindling watching that crap.

Yes, you probably said the same about Bair this time last season as well!
-
Even when we win you still berate the manager. Away and have a lie down!
-
Yawn!

You must have been wetting yourself when Celtic scored, so you could come on and rant and rave your usual anti Kettlewell drival.
-
Yawn.

🏆SC Greenock Morton v Motherwell 09/02/2024

Firstly, I am not a fan of disposing of managers at the drop of a hat, and I still stick by the manager. HOWEVER, like a few others on here, I was totally dismayed at A/ The team he put out last night(should have been freshened up in my opinion after the 2 previous games in quick succesion) B/ The lack of tactics C/ Some of the subs and "tactics" thereafter were baffling. You can`t get everything right, all of the time, but SK is not helping himself a lot of the time. He has to get the selection and tactics right against Aberdeen. Unfortunately, for me, this means dropping Kelly. He has been average(with the odd great save) for ages now, and Kettlewell must show his managerial teeth by dropping him. I don`t know how good Oxborough is, but there is only one way to find out! -

I agree. He needs to be dropped. Bit I don`t think the manager will, as that would definately end any faint hopes he has of a Euro place. -
Don`t want to spoil everyone`s mood, but I heard last night that Ollie Shaw will be back at Fir Park today.
-
Correct. Folk need to realise we`re skint. We had to get players out, before we could even make an approach for anyone. If they then don`t want to accept what wages we can afford, then it`s not the managers fault. It`s the Motherwell world we now live in folks. Depressing that Killie and St Mirren can out manouvre us finacially, but that`s the reality.

https://www.footballscotland.co.uk/spfl/scottish-premiership/kevin-van-veen-shares-rangers-28150153 Not going well in Holland and talking about a return to Scotland. Hawking himself to Rangers by the sound of it, but doesn`t rule out coming back to the Well.

Absolutely spot on 100%. We can`t keep on changing managers every 12 months. It`s pointless and doesn`t install any kind of stability in the club. Kettlewell needs to get some money in January - and spend it wisely.
