  1. 33, 29 and 34 league games he's played across the previous 3 seasons. He currently has a hamstring injury but it apparently isn't any more serious than a few weeks out.
  2. Is that not more to do with Livi, Killie and Accies all spending years setting up to shit fest their way to points?
  3. https://x.com/pieandbov/status/1873706979123773924?t=kfHI3MQRYYVZ5_IFAugyTQ&s=19 This is what I'm going off of. From there Killie's point distribution is one of the closest to 50/50 and I suspect today's result will only make it worse. As for the second part, is that not my whole point? Killie have had 2 sides filled with good players but more importantly very good defenders as well as 2 very experienced managers. That's why they've gotten those results, not because of their pitch.
  4. Is that not pretty normal for a home/away loss ratio. The record Vs the OF, think it's simply that McIness and Clarke knew how to set up Vs them. I don't think it has much to do with the pitch, for example Accies never really had a decent record Vs either of them at NDP as far as I can remember.
  5. People over estimate the affect of the astro. Managers and player love using it as an excuse after they've shat the bed. In reality Killie's home form is absolutely nothing spectacular
  6. I mean, their form certainly is but that squad (Alex Cochrane aside) is the exact same as the one that won 3rd at a relative canter last season.
  7. Fancy a Desmond for this. As much as on paper we should be the favourites I just don't trust us to go to Tynecastle and win. Hearts aren't as bad as their league position makes them out to be but with the crowd if we can frustrate them early and grab a goal then things could turn very toxic.
  8. Did Casey not hold out for a while when he re-signed for a bigger contract. Admittedly it's total speculation but if he's on decent money I'd wouldn't mind letting Casey go. He's by no means useless but Casey has been a regular in a defence that's shipped goals for fun.
  9. When has any Motherwell side ever 'had a go' against Celtic or Rangers? Having a go at Kettlewell over it on the back of a game at Parkhead against an invincible Celtic side seems really strange to me. Even the other day St Mirren at home to Rangers they had just 25% possession and 3 shots on target. Personally I'd much rather 'sit in' and give ourselves a chance of getting something rather than leaving ourselves exposed and getting humiliated.
  10. Yes I'm sure the deal will be off because of a singular post on a fans forum. Eventual signings names end up being mentioned online all the time without the deal falling to bits 🥱
  11. There are dozens of SPFL OOC midfielders. The cryptic pish is pointless, either name a name or don't.
  12. They'd give MJC and Wellfan a run for their money
  13. Punt Tavares/Watt, if someone wants to take Robinson off of our hands then that works out but I don't see that happening Vale I'd keep, he'd be good for a bit of energy and pace in the last 15/20 minutes in games.
  14. I don't particularly like Kettlewell, his lack of willingness to move from the back 3 annoys me, his substitutions are often reactive rather than proactive, some of his decision making is terrible at times (Tavares on in the Semi-Final) and that 15 game winless run have put me off of him. Saying that, we've been broadly successful with him in charge. He took us from relegation favourites in February to comfortably safe on 50 points in his first season whilst getting KVV + Max Johnston flying and getting us decent transfer fees. Last season was a real rollercoaster, we started brilliant, then didn't win for about 4 months, then finished the season okay with a win at Ibrox but also a pathetic early cup exit to Morton and a 9th place finish. A bonus point for the 1.6 million pounds sale of Theo Bair. A relative Disappointment. This season so far we're in 4th on 19 points after an entire round of fixtures and have made it to a Semi-final for the first time in 8 years, however I do there have been disappointments such as the Semi-Final/that Dundee game, I do also feel that we've had a fair bit of luck go our way so far. So far: Success Overall if I was to grade Kettlewell's time with us it'd be a 6.5/10, at this point it would be daft to sack him as we could certainly do a hell of a lot worse.
