I seen on BBC they were thinking hibs Celtic would be Saturday October 21st as hibs were playing hearts the following Tuesday. Would make us the 22nd. Edit: didn't realise that about Celtic and Bayern Just took it from this 'looking at those semi-finals, Hibs' tie against Celtic is likely to be on Saturday 21 October because Neil Lennon's men have an Edinburgh derby against Hearts on the following Tuesday. It would be rough on Hibs if they were made to play two such important matches within, um, 52 hours or so.'

We sound to be the better team with the hearts goal coming against the run of play.

Andy rose is 6ft 3 ? Is he the tallest midfielder we've had since Kevin twaddle ( if he was a midfielder, I was a little young to remember him other than the name. Wikipedia does list him as a winger/forward) Edit: Forgot about Derek Townsley actually, around about the same time as Twaddle.

John Ruddy is a weird one getting released, he has made 28 appearances this season. Has he been poor and they are wanting shot or has he not signed a new contract?

Never made a first team appearance for us but I was under the impression McCart was a youth player with us before moving to Celtic youth.

I'm just astounded that hibs are knocking back £1m plus for Cummings and we're getting offers of £300,000 for one of our best players. I would've been relatively happy with £500,000 for marv, making a £450,000 profit isn't a bad piece of business. I just don't think we can sell him for anything less than a million now (whether that's a one off payment or has the potential to become at least a million with sell on fees and appearance fees). Clubs won't take us seriously if we say we want a million and then roll over and accept £750,000 and we'll continue to receive low ball offers. The club seems to be more astutely run nowadays though so here's hoping if he is to go it is for at least a million.

Agree with everything that's been said about Thomas. There was one moment when he came on that he beat a man or two and played the ball and it contributed to a good attacking move. Other than that I think he got dispossessed trying to do too much every time. Hopefully McGhee and the other coaches can get him to look up more, like Johnson should be doing too.

Thought McDonald was the best player on the pitch in the first half. He was winning stuff in the air he had no right to win and was pulling the centre backs about the place. Mchugh looks a really good addition and marvin,although his decision making and final ball was a bit suspect, was causing so many problems.
