Nevin kept diaries and the level of detail on the Motherwell period is plausible and thorough given the twenty years past.
I don’t think anyone here has read what he says yet? I thought whilst there is clearly self serving bias, there also an illuminating look at what happened during the period.
for example Nevin is quite clear he took responsibility and told everyone at the club that administration was happening
he also was the only director to vote against it
but really, and as a hibs fan I’ve no axe to grind either way, it’s worth a read. It’s not often you get such a detailed version of events - there’s a book on hibs/heart merger of 1990 that still hasn’t seen the light of day due to legal reasons.
