Interesting to read the comments from the match thread from our implosion v St Johnstone last season. Well, interesting if you're sad like me. Seems that the problems that were evident last year at the beginning of the season (a lot of possession but no cutting edge, unsettled defence, unbalanced midfield) are the same problems that we're experiencing now. There is, of course, the argument that the manager should have identified this and remedied it, but given the team eventually began to come good, we may need to show just a fraction more patience.

We were dominant until the double change, to the point where I was sure the goal was going to come eventually. Absolutely baffled that Tait and Campbell were brought off. After that we concede a stupid free kick and Accies score a fantastic goal, we huff and puff but can’t break them down. Not too worried yet, but it would be stupid to ignore the warning signs. ETA - is there a more irritating phrase in the footballing lexicon than ‘we go again’?

With the free season tickets for kids system being in place for a few years now it would be interesting to see how many of these have converted into adult/concessions tickets.

I think I misunderstood your overall point so apologies! In my experience that has always been the case, mostly because of the reasons Andy highlighted above. However, it definitely should have been communicated to you at the point of sale. Overall though I think the ticket staff have done a very good job this season under difficult circumstances.

Unfortunately, the resources available have always dictated that priority be given those buying in person. It’s frustrating, but hopefully will be rectified with the new ticketing system.
