I think Steaua were awful last night, and it was pretty much as I presented the Steaua team before the home game. I told you then that Steaua`s midfield is poor, and so it was! We played an improvised defence, which made us struggle a lot, and appearently this will be Steaua`s defence for now on, as Dorin Goian has signed for Palermo! I`m aware our team isnt the greatest and i hope we get an easy game in the play-offs as we are seeded! About Motherwell... I knew you would play a lot better home, as all british clubs seem to do so, they put everything on, and never give up. It was a pleasure to watch Motherwell`s game in the 1st half, even tho I have to say I got a bit scared with it. Your players`s effort and loyalty for the club was huge, and you make us invisible on the football ground fo 55 minutes! It was a terrific effort and I have all the compliments for your lads! Brilliant! About the referee....I doubt Steaua have paid the referee after 3-0 in the 1st leg, but i must say he has been awful! But...this is what spanish average referees are all about! I`ve seen a lot of spanish La Liga and i can say that they are very bad, nowhere near the level of the league. I knew he would give free kicks very easily, as this is the spanish style. He was a disgrace anyway. And about the cheating....Is nothing to be proud for the Steaua supporters, but in the romanian league everybody does it. Is a lot different from what i see in the Premier League or in the Spl. I admire you guys for not cheating, and for playing the game so fair, it`s a shame the romanian mentality is so rubbish about this aspect of the game. Good Luck in the league guys. News for you guys...so you can figure out how good/bad the romanian football is! Shaktar Donetsk 2-2 F.C. Timisoara (2nd place last season in the romanian league) in the 3rd qualifiyng round for the Champions League.

Thank you very much for your reply Robyn. You gave me the quality information i was expecting. Now I can say i know a little more about Motherwell. This is what playing in Europe is all about...you can`t get bored because every year you can get to play against different oppositions, with different styles, and most of all..most of the times you dont know what to expect! (as one of you has said in an anterior message)

Hello you Motherwell fans. I subscribed on this forum so I could tell you a few things about Steaua. I`ve read the posts in this thread and it looks like all the other Steaua fans in here are very optimistic. I think our team is having a very bad time, we played rubbish all last season`s games and the owner didnt do anything about it. We bought only unknown players, like Grzelak, Bibiskov (i dont think i`ve spelt it right) or Tininho. Also...very important players for us like Ogararu (rb), Tiago (cm), Moreno(am) and Semedo (st) have left. Our only advantage this season is that we have a better coach, mr Bergodi, former Lazio player. Our midfield is rubbish, with people like Onicas (18 years old), who played very bad vs Ujpest in the 1st leg (his 2nd game for the club), and like Bicfalvi , who is suposed to be a dm, but isnt anywhere near the standard of Radoi or Ovidiu Petre ( ex Steaua players! ). We have Szekely on the right wing, who has had an awful last season, and probably Grzelak on the left, player that would be starting for the first time in a Steaua shirt. In the attack, we have very young players like Stancu and Surdu, but they have played only once togheter. In conclusion, i`d say Motherwell has a very big chance of challanging the play-off spot. Obviously...if you`re a good enough team. I already bought the ticket for thursday`s game, and i want to ask you guys, what is interesting to watch in your team? Are you playing the old "long ball" british style? Nice to meet you again! Sorry if my english was too bad.
