I don't see why he would have to be back up, I'm pretty sure Mark could make the step up and hold down a place in a championship team. He's got the ability IMO.

When was the last time a 'Well player got a Scotland cap and held down a place in the squad? Wasn't very recently as far as I can remember. As soon as he moves, he'll be in about the Scotland squad like a tramp eating chips though. Theres just something that seems to get 'Well players over looked where Scotland is concerned. So, to be honest, its more likely to happen if he's a Championship player, unfortunately

Fair enough putting him on the half way line, but I wouldnt expect him to win much. He would come up against a defender and shit out of the tackle, as he usually does.
