Don't worry mate, due to my manflu I'm pretty sure I dozed off a few times while recording it!

Getting them sorted this afternoon. Apologies in advance for those we don't get through.

Monday night is podcast night... Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/bytheminsport/bytheminmfc-podcast-13 Libsyn: http://t.co/9riMjcU3OO

Anyone who's guested on the weekly podcast so far got in touch to say they wanted to - anyone else is welcome to do that too!
-
Steelmen Online's own Yabba's Turd joined myself, Sparra and Busta for this week's podcast, where we discussed Fir Park, Pearson, and our two upcoming defeats... Just a Soundcloud link for now due to some technical difficulties: https://soundcloud.com/bytheminsport/bytheminmfc-podcast-12/

If not, we'll just get Sparra to download a bleeping noise.

Regular listeners will know the drill by now. As Busta says mate, anyone who wants to come on is more than welcome! I know that our esteemed host Sparra is keen to try and get those with club connections involved in the future hopefully!

The first podcast of 2015 is online tonight - both on Soundcloud and Libsyn. Also noticed that none of us got the chance to post up links to last week's, so if anyone wants to catch up on that you can also get it on Soundcloud.

On this week's podcast we discussed the 1-0 victory at St. Mirren, previewed the Partick Thistle game, and ranted about the ridiculous treatment of 'Well fans on Saturday and in general. Also, thanks to all those who listened to the Well Society special on Thursday. Our average has been about 450-500 listens per episode which is great in itself, but I believe Thursday's podcast notched up almost double that. Anyway, links for this week: Soundcloud Libsyn

Unfortunately due to the ongoing talks with Les etc, the "confidentially agreement" in place with the 'Well Society meant that a lot of the questions about Les, loans etc couldn't be answered at present. Brian's agreed to come back on to answer more questions in the New Year though, when he's able to answer a lot more in that regard! Also, Brian's in-depth and extensive answers were very much welcomed, but it did mean a few other questions we had lined-up didn't get asked before we ran out of time! As for the breaking down of questions, it's something we'll take on board for next time! The podcast itself is still in its infancy and this was our first attempt at a Q&A setup, so any feedback is definitely welcomed! Hopefully overall it was a reasonable success and folk find it a worthwhile listen!

Posted this in the thread about this week's podcast but given not all folk are into podcasts I thought it deserved its own thread as it's a great opportunity to get some questions answered...

I've clocked the post. We'll whittle it down to a question or two and see about firing them his way. Cheers. As far as I'm away, bank accounts and therefore direct debits are frozen on death. That means it wouldn't carry out and wouldn't be an issue for the Well Society either way.

Those of you who haven't listened to this week's podcast, batter in. Those of you who have, will know that there'll be a Well Society podcast special on Thursday night featuring Society Chairman Brian McCafferty. I've been really critical of the Society since I joined a few years ago (all justified I believe!) and one of my main gripes has been the complete lack of communication. So for Brian to agree to come on to the podcast in an attempt to reach out to the fans is a move that deserves appreciation. So this is the 'Well fans chance to get as much information as possible with regards to the Society and where we go from here. Whether you're a member or not, we'll be looking to put as many questions as possible to Brian in an attempt to get the maximum benefit from his podcast appearance. So if you have a Well Society question that you want put to Brian, then feel free to get in touch via our Facebook Group or Twitter, or even just post it below and we'll try and get through as many as possible...

Yeah, if you're on either/both it's on Facebook and Twitter. I know what you mean - I don't necessarily agree it's to do with being mates though. We agree and disagree on a lot of things, I don't think people align their views with their friends. I'd say it's actually a case of A. Nothing coming up thus far that has genuinely sparked full debate; and B. Still getting used to the whole set up. In terms of the latter, we've had our disagreements so far, stuff involving Dempster & Ramsden springs to mind, but because we're still getting used to the setup (well, me & Busta are - Sparra hosts other ByTheMin podcasts), we're only starting to get completely comfortable. With that comes increased likelihood of interrupting & having proper exchanges rather than waiting on a cue from the host to talk. But the idea of having a changing 4th guest every week was definitely implemented to try and get a broad range of views from different sections of the 'Well support, so hopefully there'll be a lot more debate and differing of opinion in the future! I've had many disagreements with folk when I used to post on here in the past, so if anyone wants to come on, please feel free - me, Busta & Sparra might be mates, but it's not some sort of clique or club - we'll welcome anyone on who wants to contribute! I'll find out from Sparra. The plan from the off was to have it on iTunes but there was some snags early on and I'm not sure what happened with it. In general though, it's really good to see some compliments, encouragement and constructive criticism. We've been pretty taken aback by just how quickly we've started hitting 450-odds every week (to put it in perspective, the ByTheMin Celtic podcast which has been going for a few months now averages about 600-700 per week) so hopefully we'll build from there. Confident it'll only get better with more varied views from different people and more debate naturally occurring, but any feedback - be it negative or positive - is always welcome so cheers!

We'd get him on as a guest if he wasn't such a big Airdrie fan.

We're currently averaging about 450 listens per episode via Libsyn & Soundcloud.

Been a while since I've been on here. McCall takes a hefty share of the blame for Sunday IMO. From the kick off, it was blatantly obvious we simply couldn't compete without any wide men (perhaps more evident from behind the goal than on the TV). Going forward, Ramsden and Hammell regularly found themselves with no option other than either lumping the ball into the box from deep and hoping for the best, or passing the ball inside into an incredibly congested midfield. When on the back foot, the lack of wide men able to track back meant we were regularly outnumbered on both sides of the back four. When your watching a flaw in the system that is so blatantly obvious and needs corrected ASAP in order to have any chance of getting a result, it becomes both frustrating and confusing how the manager can go on for so long without making the necessary changes. I really like McCall and applaud the job he's done so far but he definitely has a tendency to fuck things up every now and again. In a more positive light, there is absolutely no way we will be playing without wide men tomorrow night, so at least we can be confident of a similar performance not taking place.

Think I made this 'public' so folk can see it without being ma pal on Facebook.

Jose Luis Chilavert. Rogerio Ceni. Darren Randolph.
-
Take your common sense and fuck off, it's not wanting around these parts.
-
Agreed. In terms of the actual incident itself, I have absolutely no complaints about a ban for Randolph.
