If there's one conclusion we can make from all the boycott and shite attendance chat on Rangers Media, Follow Follow and Pie & Bovril, the terrible patter from h**s all over Twitter and Facebook, and the hilariously chronic memes they've been dishing out, it's that Sevco fans are absolutely OBSESSED with the 'Well.
-
The photo of the Inverness support at Fir Park being proof of our shite crowds was good. And admittedly I didn't think it would get any better when the meme featuring the Hibernian support at Fir Park, before a match, turned up online. How wrong I was. Step forward Rangers fan Ally Mackay on Twitter. Take a bow son, you've really outdone the rest.

Seriously though, the thing I've realised today and tonight is that they are genuinely hurting. They've spent months telling us how good the Third Division is and how they don't need the SPL or it's clubs - it's been a brave face they've put on. But it's obviously a complete act. The sheer enthusiasm and bitterness so many Currant Buns have put into this "boycott" (albeit made up by Traynor) and "shite attendance" chat simply because they've drawn an SPL side in the League Cup tells a pretty clear story... I'd almost feel sorry for them if they weren't thick, vile, bigotted scumbags.
-
Ach, don't be too harsh on them mate. They're a shite Division Three mob now with no power, no history and no respect - attendances is all they've got left. Just look at the jizzfest over the Aberdeen support having 'Sell Out Saturday'. It's all they've got.
-
Yeah mate, it says "HIBS". That's why I'm sure.
-
Nah mate, the scoreboard says Hibs.
-
This is another favourite that the h**s are creaming over on Twitter: Personally I'm struggling to see the relevance of a Hibs support at Fir Park clearly sometime before the game's even started.
-
Apparently it's now on Twitter as proof that Motherwell fans don't go to Motherwell games. Fucking thick bastards.
-
Regarding the boycott chat, from what I've heard it was Traynor on the radio earlier who apparently claimed he'd been on a Motherwell forum and read all about us boycotting the game. Obviously we know he's just made it up but it seems the wee diddy mob fans have believed his ramblings.
-
Obviously there's the added factor of everything that's went on (and the fact we might win) but there's always the potential for it to kick off anyway. We usually get the subway to the game and back and that's always a riot when the hordes clock you're not one of them. Some interesting moments to say the least (think my favourite was when a couple of Currants got off at Cessnock and tried to drag 'Flow off the train)... Think we'll give the subway a miss for this one though! The prospect of something going off won't stop us from being there though!
-
Indeed. The days of Hearts being the Mini-Rangers are long gone. It's went full circle.
-
I agree to an extent but, if anything, that encourages me more to go than to miss out. I'm a Motherwell supporter going to a Motherwell game - intimidation by a bunch of knuckle-draggers and the prospect of something kicking off won't change that. If it did, ultimately they win.
-
Going into the Third Division hasn't made the Rangers support any less bitter, bigotted or scummy, or any more intelligent. There will be some who believe we're due revenge because they're thick and twisted, and there will be others who know the truth but will go along with it anyway. Ultimately, this is the first chance the majority of the Rangers support get this season to fully indulge in the hatred they so clearly get off on. This revenge chat, and some of the other deluded pish they come out with, is a perfect example of that. Always keep in mind we're dealing with hate-filled wee bigots here.
-
What songs are those?
-
Give Sevco fans a break. Half of them have never been to Ibrox never mind Fir Park, and the vast majority are absolute idiots.
-
Not half. Some of it is so deluded it's beyond comprehension. The bigotted fuckwits, whether in the SPL or Third Division, continue to inhabit a completely different world from the rest of us. Thankfully. Some of its hilarious though. Personal highlight so far is a guy posting a photo of the Inverness support as proof that we've been 'boycotting' our own games at Fir Park...
-
I can only assume that a couple of Currants have noticed some of our fans have the bizarre need to tell everybody on here they're not going to Ibrox, and have mistakingly thought its an actual boycott because they're thick as shit.
-
Having a wee look on Rangers Media just to see how the fans of this new Third Division diddy mob are viewing their biggest game of the season against the SPL league leaders... Good to see the wee sad, bitter bigots of Sevco 5088 Ltd understand how big a draw this is for them.
-
Both teams need to agree on the pricing. The £1 thing is a complete non-starter unless Dempster takes a funny turn.
-
Exactly my thoughts. When Marty text me the draw, my first thought was "fuck, I wanted them at Fir Park, but I'm not fancying them at Ibrox". But now, just knowing how absolutely raging they all are, I'm well up for it - regardless of the result!
-
If ever there's a game against Rangers that our lads need a good Motherwell support, it's this one. Hopefully enough 'Well fans realise that. I understand any 'Well fan's stance when it comes to Ibrox, but I'd like to think that very occasionally there's a match there where it's much more about supporting your team than anything else. There'll probably be a bit of a heated atmosphere. We all know Rangers fans are pretty much the scummiest football fans in the world - this whole scenario will just have made them worse. But again, this game IMO is more about supporting Motherwell than anything to do with Sevco 5088 Ltd and the recently deceased Rangers. I'd encourage all Motherwell fans who can get to Ibrox and can afford it to make the effort, even if it's a one off.
-
Revenge! REVENGE!
-
Agreed. Doubt it'll happen though. For every Motherwell fan who doesn't usually go to Ibrox but decides to go because of the circumstances, there'll be another one who'll have went in the past but doesn't fancy the additional aggro. I expect our usual poor Ibrox attendance. I'll be all over it though, absolutely no doubt.
-
Bring the c***s on. Hilarious (and dangerous!) away day in prospect!
-
Agreed. Sevco at Fir Park please. A cup victory over the ex-h**s with no away support. Sounds belting.
