  1. Nah, cannae agree with that in the slightest. As much as Ojamaa hasn't been worth the wankfest he's received and has looked out of form the last couple of weeks, he's still the one player who could unlock the Rangers defence, even if it's just in one moment. Daley, on the other hand, has been largely poor when he's played.
  2. To be fair, that's not strictly true. We were toiling in the final straight last season because McCall kept rotating the team to keep players fresh for the cup final.
  3. Just playing Football Manager and we've just beaten the Currants 2-1 thanks to Hammell and Jennings. Since I had Spotify on at the same time and the song that just happened to be playing was "Long Time Coming" by the Delays, I think it might be worth a quid or two on it...
  4. I do agree with that and, in normal circumstances, I don't accept any failure easily - even away to Celtic. But unfortunately with us playing Rangers, it's beginning to mirror those burds you see on Jeremy Kyle who've been systematically abused for so long, they just accept that it's normal...
  5. Saw the comments on the Killie forum earlier in the week and there were a lot of kind words for the Motherwell support, so thanks for that. That said, it's a sad reflection on our Old Firm-dominated league when an away support who vocally back their team, applaud another team's silverware success and honour the death of an opposition player's father are heralded as being something out of the ordinary when, in fact, it should really just be normal behaviour.

Aye, me anaw - just back from Fir Park.
  8. £15 on Rangers. Large enough that I'll be content with the winnings (after last weekend at least), little enough that I'll not give a fuck about losing £15 over a 'Well result.
  9. My first Motherwell hero as a kid, absolute legend.
  10. I'm not particularly fussed either way if there's a minute's applause or silence. However, if one does occur then I can imagine why. It's a different tragedy from just your usual parent passing away and if Killie feel that one of their player's fathers dropping dead pretty much on the final whistle of a historical League Cup win is due a moment of respect, then I'm perfectly happy to go along with that. I'm also led to believe that Liam Kelly's dad's funeral will be on the Saturday (although that may be nonsense). If it is, then perhaps it would be a way for the Kilmarnock players themselves to show respect since they can't go along.
  11. A minute silence/applause, fair enough. Not too bothered either way about the applauding on to the park deal, don't really see much point in it for the League Cup if I'm honest (despite it still being a big deal for a non-OF club to win it).
  12. That's from Motherwell to Kilmarnock, but as far as I know it's just half price fares all round so I'd imagine you can get 50% off to Kilmarnock from elsewhere (I only got mine from Motherwell rather than Blantyre so I'll save cash on the inevitable trip back to the Leccy)! So what train is everyone looking at getting through? Think we're aiming for the 10.20 from the 'Well.
  13. That pretty much sums it up for me. Absolutely tragic what's happened to Liam Kelly's old man, and thoughts are with the Kelly family, but if you start postponing football matches because a player's lost a family member then you'd never get any games played.
  14. Great photo. The fact I'd had that bottle of Jager to myself by about 2pm didn't help matters.

Couple of us will be heading to next week's sign-up night to get joined up. Been swithering over finances etc, but I've just decided to bite the bullet. I also reckon there's no doubt either they already have the £250k or have no doubts of reaching it - you don't put those 'total raised' gauge-style things up on the official website unless you're definitely hitting the target.
  16. Correction. You spent the second half dancing to your iPod, the first half you spent asleep! I reckon two particular trips to Inverness stand out for me. One where I tried to jump off a wall at Perth station on the way home and knocked myself unconscious, and another where I spent the 90 minutes in a cell doing forward rolls on a gym mat thanks to one of the coppers on duty deciding I was too drunk to get into the game. We lost 2-0 that day though and it was about £20+ to get in, so I probably get the better deal. And as far as Scotland games go, I've got to agree with Mitch and Frazzle - Bari was a ridiculously meltit trip. I swapped my new Scotland home shirt before the game for one of the worst Italy t-shirts you've ever seen, that looked like it had been made out of glue, tin-foil, and a rubbish blue Fruit of the Loom t-shirt. Glory days. I also couldn't remember any of the game though which seemed completely pointless to me, hence why I've made sure I'm not that bad for games since (although obviously I'd never claim to be sober at Scotland games). Not that I'm condoning being so wasted at the football, but there we go.
  17. Just bought five of us return train briefs - £3.90 each thanks to Scotrail's March Madness.
  18. Pretty much every Inverness away day.
  19. I never bothered really looking, I'm such a tight bastard I just searched for 'beach balls' on Google and picked the cheapest! Some random inflatables should make an appearance as well.
  20. Dunno about a sombrero, but for £1.50 I reckon I might purchase a few of these! Oh, and I've fired a fiver to the Paypal address.
  21. Chat of a display on the 31st has convinced me, I'll batter in a donation shortly. Reckon I'll buy some beach balls for up the back of the section for that day anaw.
  22. No thanks. As far as I'm aware, getting completely carried away about something which then doesn't happen does not actually result in anything particularly bad happening in the grand scheme of things. That is good enough for me. I'm completely loving this Champions League chat and have absolutely no intention whatsoever of keeping my feet on the ground.
