Zaluska named Man of the Match - says it all. We played well, but it's a bizarre feeling being embarrassed to not even get a point away to Celtic. But I am - because they are absolutely dreadful.

That should have been all three points against an absolutely horrendous Celtic side, but thanks to poor finishing and schoolboy defending at corners we end up with fuck all.

A wasted corner thanks to O'Brien trying a stupid wee flick almost results in a Celtic goal. Great goalkeeping from Fraser and superb covering from Saunders keeps it all square though.

Aye, I'd agree with that - although our usual bit in the East looked even emptier than normal, at least in front of us. As I said earlier - about 50% of our usual group don't have season tickets, so they just got in free. I would imagine it would be the same for plenty of people.

I've not made too many away games this season due to finances, but there's a few of us heading through to Tannadice. However, given our tradition of playing shite and losing whenever we take a big crowd, I must admit I'm not particularly yearning for a big support!

It's a good idea, but I can't see it having a huge impact on the attendance. From the usual suspects I sit with, about half have season tickets and the other half pay in. So all that'll happen is we'll all get in without paying on the day, so the attendance isn't actually going to grow any. I'd imagine the same could be said for a lot of folk that go to Fir Park with mates.

Can't see demand being remotely high enough to justify it.

Oh aye, from what I've seen of Kenneth (which admittedly isn't a lot!), I'd suggest Reynolds should be ahead in the queue. However, I've got to say that the Dundee United fans I've spoken to about Kenneth sound pretty much exactly like Motherwell fans talking about Reynolds. As I said when Kenneth was first called up, although I didn't think he was technically good enough I could see the logic in that he's a big strong centre half who will actually be able to challenge in the air against big strikers and is pretty no nonsense. Guys like Berra and Caldwell aren't really that kind of centre halves. It's similiar to calling up Iwelumo IMO. There are strikers who are technically better than him, but when you're picking an international squad you need balance and Levein has shown in the past with de Vries that he wants a target man involved. Therefore, in order to have that type of player involved, guys like Riordan and McCormack miss out.

Can't argue with that at all. Gary Caldwell is a very good centre back who, unfortunately, has the odd game where everything goes wrong for him. Don't get me wrong, if Levein is genuinely looking at improving our options in the centre of defence - which is undoubtedly a problem area - then I think he should be looking at drafting in someone like Reynolds for the Sweden friendly. But to suggest he should be anywhere near the starting line-up competatively and ahead of Caldwell, McManus, Berra and Webster is pretty ridiculous at the moment IMO.

Well since you mention it, I personally think it's only right that next season's Motherwell Fans Club home kit has elbow patches in his honour.

Not siding with anybody, simply pointing out how ridiculous some of the mock outrage is on here about a nothing article. Some of the points are valid, but a lot of it is just greeting for the sake of greeting.
