  1. You're trying to compare someone stating their disappointment with some of the other shite posted on here? Fuck me.
  2. According to John Robertson, we went close about 11 or 12 times. ICT went close 3 times and scored two of them. But Inverness won comfortably. EDIT: Meant to post this in the match thread...
  3. So there should never be any cup upsets anywhere, and league positions should never actually change because those further up the table should never lose to those further down the table? It's football for fuck sake, that's how it works.
  4. Because obviously he isn't as injured as "Wanko" says.
  5. According to the radio, big Ross Tokely is at left-back for Inverness tonight. Humphrey is going to tear him to shreds.
  6. Well big Colin Hendry's only doing a bit of pundit work these days...

    Kilmarnock

Top performances right throughout the team, but I'll plump for O'Brien. Excellent performance, was constantly tormenting the Killie defence, and of course got the two goals. If Humphrey had been on earlier, or had started and played like that throughout, then he'd have been in with a shout as well. The Killie left back must have been praying for the final whistle as the Humph tore him again and again. If both those two can maintain that level of performance then, with Humphrey on the right and O'Brien on the left, we could seriously start ripping the c**t out of full-backs throughout the SPL on a weekly basis. And with two big forwards in the box, a decent number of goals would inevitably follow.
  8. Really enjoyed that today. Good support, cracking result and some really good play at times. All players got pass marks, though special mentions for the Reynolds, Craigan, Lasley, Coke & Humphrey when he came on, and of course man of the match Jim O'Brien. Both O'Brien's goals were excellent team goals, especially the first. Looking forward to the highlights tomorrow!
  9. Comfortable win today for Paw Broon's Motherwell Army. 3-0. Jutkiewicz, Murphy & O'Brien.
  10. Anyone who votes "Yes" should be instantly banned from Fir Park for life.
  11. Happy with that. If we can beat Caley, then we've got a good chance at doing either Killie or the Bairns. Plus, hopefully we'll take a big cup crowd through to either. I'd prefer Falkirk as I quite like a wee away day in Behind The Wall, but aye - I'll take that draw. But aye, let's do Inverness first.
  12. As has already been pointed out by a few other folk, that's a load of shite. But just in case he's some sort of mentally retarded creature who would actually base decisions about his future on what some folk post on a message board, I'll do my part to keep him...
  13. 500 yer fuckin' arse.
  14. Perfect description. They should start using that in the "Description" field on Football Manager for players like Slane.
  15. Exactly what I was just about to post. Chris McCart is paid by Celtic Football Club to find good young players and bring them through the ranks at Celtic Park in the hope they'll turn out to be cracking players for the Timothies in the future. By signing Paul Slane on a pre-contract he's doing his job. Paul Slane is a silly wee boy if he goes, but that's exactly what he is just now - a wee boy - and all he'll see at the moment are the bright lights of his boyhood heroes. The only folk to blame if this happens are those at Motherwell Football Club responsible for making sure our good young players are tied to the club.
  16. I think I would genuinely greet if Gus Macpherson was appointed as the next 'Well gaffer.
  17. Cheers for the offer mate, but I cannae really afford anything more than just the petrol money at the moment! And even then I'd be looking to recruit a few bodies to chip in!
  18. Great news on the pay at the gate situation. I was planning on just giving it a miss as I didn't see the point in spending time and money getting a ticket for a game I don't think will be on, but now I could be tempted to jump in the motor and drive up (conditions permitting!) on Saturday if the game's confirmed as going ahead!
  19. Even if he was still as good as he was when he left (which he isn't going to be given he's signing for Accies) I wouldn't have him back due to this exercise-induced asthma. As much as I like McGarry, he couldn't last much more than 60 minutes. It would be totally pointless to get rid of him, and replace him with a player who can't last much more than 60 minutes.
  20. Indeed. There's no need for a club like Motherwell to be paying reasonably high wages every week for two SPL quality keepers. We should have as good a first choice keeper as we can get, and then a young back-up goalie who can do a half-decent job when/if required. Get shop of Fraser, bring in this Albion keeper, and free up wages for elsewhere in the team.
  21. Good news he's away. Wouldn't be surprise if he ends up playing non-league football in England after Charlton release him. A complete imposter of a full-back.
