  1. The Procurator Fiscal can still press charges can they not?

Total over-reaction by the club. If I had the holidays & money I'd be going, and I'm sure every one who makes the journey will have a cracking time.
  3. Christ, I hope not.
  4. I'd actually agree with that, but for some reason when I rhyme off the line-up my mind automatically goes with the one I posted (94/95?)...
  5. Yep, doesn't sound like a "guesstimate" to me. Would be nice to get a confirmed figure though, surely it wouldn't be too difficult to let us know how many are heading south?
  6. Anywhere decent for a scran at 7am on Thursday morning!?
  7. You'll need to get a permission slip from one of the East End Baby Crew Committee and have it signed by a parent or guardian.
  8. Away from the whole "dream team" idea, the one line-up that has always remained in my head for about 15 odd years now: Sieb Dykstra Rab Shannon --- Miodrag Krivokapic --- Chris McCart --- Brian Martin --- Rob McKinnon Paul Lambert --- Jamie Dolan --- Billy Davies Dougie Arnott --- Tommy Coyne Fine side that - could probably give the Old Scum a run for the title these days! EDIT: Didnae bother reading the thread before I posted that. Good to see wishaesteve battering up the same team!
  9. Aye, it would be a bit bizarre being at a European tie in Wales in a 15,000 seater stadium with 300 Llanelli fans, and 1700 'Well supporters.
  10. According to the Llanelli forum, they've sold about 200 tickets... Reckon the match being on the tele could result in that figure not growing too much before Thursday!

    In's And Out's

I'd agree with that. McGarry didn't play well on Thursday, but he was in no way the worst player on the park. He's just the next in line on a long list of players it's fashionable for a lot of fans to greet about for some reason. Fitzpatrick is obviously on that list too. About 10 minutes into the game, he was getting abuse from some rocket in the West Stand for being shite, simply because he was warming up in front of the stand. Our support doesn't half have a fair share of utter arseholes in it.
  12. Most Motherwell fans refuse to give Celtic & Rangers money simply to be treated like a criminal for 90 minutes by the police & stewards. My advice would be to avoid the game. If you want to take in a Motherwell game, do it at Fir Park.
  13. 3-0 'Well for me - Sutton with a double, and Murphy with the other. I reckon Gannon's arrival will bring about a feel good factor, not to mention a desire to impress, amongst the players. The fact he's already brought in a new signing should set the alarm bells ringing amongst the lads that the new gaffer is going to be bringing in new faces ASAP, and they will therefore need to play well to convince Jimbo that they're worthy of a place in his team. And even with a bare squad, we should still be far too much for Llanelli to handle.
  14. "I heard in Jack Daniels" could mean that John Boyle was in having a jar and gave you a couple of accurate figures, or it could mean some random with nae idea just thought up a couple of numbers!

    In's And Out's

Agreed. Mediocre footballer who was ridiculously over-rated.
  16. Top lad and I hope he does the business down south. Good luck Clarky!
  17. Get on the Llanelli forum and see if they have a Red Light District.
  18. I actually agree with you, 1,500 was my estimate when the draw was made and I reckon that's still the most likely number. Anything over that would be fantastic. It's certainly not impossible though - I mean one of the lads coming with us isn't a Motherwell fan and just fancies a day out, so if there's a few folk like that then the number could grow slightly. 1,500 sounds about right though - still a very decent away support.
  19. Well we apparently sold almost 1,000 tickets yesterday, and there'll be plenty of folk still to buy their tickets (myself included) so I think we'll take a bit over 1,100.
  20. Well unfortunately you might have to do without the sight of my legs this trip mate, 14 hours in a bus in the one day is just a bit too much for my kilt to take I think!
  21. Don't worry Fritz, I've got my kilt all ready to rock complete with your favourite boots. To be honest, I wasn't going to bother given I'll be in a bus for about 14 hours out of the day, but I might have to now just for you!
