Cannae argue with that. Going one up front was an absolutely ridiculous decision. I still can't actually believe we started a cup tie at home to St. Mirren like that. God help us if we get the Old Firm in the next round - a 5-5-0 formation perhaps!?
-
You can indeed, however the Mods & Admin will confirm that I haven't edited anything since I got back from the game! Some folk must have really shit Saturday nights though if they've got nothing better to do than get upset that they're not getting to see someone eating a shoe!
-
Lies. It said "winning tomorrow" for roughly three minutes last night, before I bottled it a bit and decided to change it to "progress to the next round". It's not been editted since, apart from a certain Mod. I can't help it if you sit on the forums awaiting new posts to swoop onto. The most important point is that before the game even kicked off it clearly said that if we didn't progress to the next round, I'd eat my own shoe. This remains the case. If any Mods or Admin wish to check the times of editting and what was actually editted, they'll confirm that! The shoe-eating video, if it happens, will only be available for UK residents anyway.

Shoe eating aside, I really hope McGhee comes out and explains why the hell we were going with one man up front at home to St. Mirren. An absolutely ridiculous decision. Thank Christ he changed it at half time or we'd be nowhere near tomorrow's draw, and I'd be using the rest of the curry sauce from my Indian to give my shoe some flavour.
-
It originally said I'd eat my own shoe if we didn't progress to the next round, and I had a SO insider on stand-by to edit it if it all went tits up, so it looks like they did!! But as I said, the point was I'd do it if we didn't progress to the next round. We're not out of the cup yet. You only have yourself to blame for not reading my post properly!
-
Eh? EDIT: Haha, I see some fine Mod legend has editted my post, and the quote in a couple of replies, to save me having to eat my own shoe! However, no need! The post clearly said that if we didn't progress to the next round I'd do it - we'll still win the reply! But there was never a panda suit involved at any point.
-
Motherwell will win tomorrow. That's a fact. In fact, if Motherwell don't progress to the next round I will hold a piece of paper that says "I Love Paisley Panda" and post it on here. There we go. We will win.* * - I hope.

Why would we want to visit a St. Mirren website, never mind have to search for it first!?
-
Why would I want to post there? I'm not a St. Mirren fan. Incidentally your attempt to post a link, much like your club's latest attempt at a big name signing, has failed.
-
Who are these people? That's the difference between our two sides mate. We had a poor start to the season but are now back on form, your lot are just their usual mediocre selves. I trust you'll be coming back on here for some post-match chat, and to wish us all the best for the next round?
-
Oops, double post.

I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that St. Mirren fans are actually worse than Celtic fans for living in the past. Though I suppose it's understandable when you have absolutely nothing to look forward to other than utter dross served up in a laughable legoland stadium. It's a shame we haven't been drawn against a decent side in the Cup yet. When we reach the quarter/semi finals it looks a lot better when we've been knocking out sides other than mediocre pish. I love reading Pie & Bovril these days, it's hilarious reading all the St Mirren fans greeting about us. If you lot put as much effort into giving up the heroin addictions as you do moaning about Motherwell, then Paisley would be a much nicer place to visit.

We'll score another double.

Clocked a St Mirren fan posting this on P&B: Yes, I said a St Mirren fan. A relatively simple 2-0 'Well victory tomorrow should put the most deluded fans in Scotland in their place methinks.
-
I fancy a wee 2-0 or 3-0 to the 'Well on Saturday. On our current form, and with home advantage, we should be aiming to ease past a team like St Mirren. I don't post on P&B (apart from the Tartan Army section) but I do read some of the shite that comes from the Buddies on there. Would be delighted if we could absolutely anihilate them to give me some hilarious reading at work on Monday.

Don't think anyone here has the slightest problem with Locos refusing refunds! The entire anger and frustration is about 'Well fans being told by MFC that they could refund their ticket up until a few days after the match! There really is no end to the utter shambles that is Motherwell Football Club.
-
There are printers up there?
-
I'd agree if it was just the one rescheduled date, but not to offer refunds for a match that was rescheduled four times is a disgrace.
-
What's the situation from a legal viewpoint? Surely if the club told fans that they could get refunds on their tickets after the game then it's illegal to then refuse this?
-
Utter, utter shambles. Although it kind of sums up Motherwell Football Club that I'm not at all surprised.
-
Sportsound is on 810MW from 6.10pm til 10.00pm - on there?
-
Bet you creamed yourself when we signed Bob Malcolm.
-
And who are these Irish boys from Celtic? O'Brien & Sheridan? That's some fascination!
-
So we've just brought in a striker on loan (something most agreed we had to do after Porter left) who is a promising youngster, has netted for the Republic's U19 and U21 sides, has scored for Celtic in the SPL and has featured in the Champions League against sides like Manchester United and folk are still greeting about it before he's even kicked a ball for us!? It's hilarious how many folk on here think that players who aren't good enough to be starting every week for the Old Firm are therefore automatically not good enough to play for Motherwell!
