  1. Not only announced as Turnball but listed on the scoreboard the same way!
  2. Luc Nijholt played as a ringer in that tournament, played under the name of one of our youngsters presumably so we could get a good look at him. I recall it being mentioned before about the kits being slightly changed on the collars from the ones used in this tournament. I'll have to try digging up my pics, I took one of Davie Cooper who stopped and posed for me during a game.
  3. It is NOT for the initial challenge. Look at the video, Thomson doesn't react until the "stamp" that he thinks he sees. He runs past the initial clash then goes back to it.
  4. Thomson suggested it was a stamp, which it obviously wasn't, so presume he has sent him off for violent conduct. If so, he needs to look at the laws of the game as there was no excessive force involved in the clash. This should have resulted in a yellow card. For both. "Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball."
  5. I think that goal has generally now been credited to Main. The official SFA site give it to Main. I find it hard to see how any source could have given it to the goalie especially with live TV evidence there in front of them.
  6. That has got to be Main's goal, no way did the keeper score an own goal.
  7. Local evening paper down here gave Louis 7/10 saying "Good shift on his Championship start".
  8. He was only 21 when he left us. Now that he is in his third season of playing regularly he is a far better player than when he left us. Plenty of good players in non-league, we got Bowman, Moult and Tait from National League.
  9. He has really picked up since the start of the season, fairly solid defensively and getting better and better going forward. Could definitely do a job on current form, particularly in a wing back role.
  10. Another goal and Man of the Match for ZFA. In a rich vein of form at the mo, looking good in left wing back role.
  11. Kieran Kennedy played for table topping Macclesfield at Fylde yesterday and went home after a 6-0 tonking.
  12. All ZFA at Fylde tonight as he picked up a man of the match award (deservedly as well). Also featured in the programme with his five best moments in football and all with Motherwell so nice coverage for us and pics and all referred to as 'we did this' or 'we did that'. His first goal, against Thistle. Playing in the Champions League in Greece. Playing in the Europa League against Levante Scoring against Celtic. Finishing second in the league. Obviously he hasn't had much else to choose from, though I thought he might have said being picked in the National League North team of the season last year.
  13. Zaine Francis Angol on the scoresheet for AFC Fylde, although even he couldn't miss from two feet out.
  14. Saw him managing Stockport at AFC Fylde a while ago.
  15. Robinson is under contract till 2020, not sure where we'd find the money to pay him off.
  16. Blackpool are so far up shit creek financially that it might not take much of an offer to acquire him permanently. The manager doesn't think he's going to have any money for the January transfer window.
  17. Made much clearer on the Alba showing. Griffiths takes a step to his right as the shot is taken. If he'd stayed where he was he'd have saved it easily.
  18. Here we go again with more deliberate elbow red card shite.
  19. Well done to my wee team holding their more illustrious opponents to a draw despite conceding possession and chances. Now lets hope my big team do the same tomorrow although there's no hope of us getting a penalty.
  20. Looks very soft, it's on the Pie and Bovril match thread.
  21. Dembele's challenge was seen by the ref and adjudged to be a yellow, intent or not, so won't be looked at again.
  22. I wonder if some conversations have been going back and forth. Maybe it was suggested that if we appealed it then the compliance officer might be tempted to have a look at the earlier foul by Kipre. And, of course, if we won the appeal then Sinclair would have to get done and the Cup win would be tainted.
