  1. IF there is any truth in this, I'm back to the 'forget it' stage. Been thinking how I can do more to help the club financially like many other fans I'm sure, but that is on hold for now. It's simple for me, the rules need to be applied equally to all. There are only 2 clubs in Scotland (could be argued 1!) for whom this would even be considered. If it were us or any other 'diddy' club, it would be a case of 'Div3 if yer lucky'! If it isn't bad enough we've got to suffer because of their wrongs, things we had no control over, we're expected to accept this? (maybe.....) Rod 'sporting integrity' Petrie is a 2 faced hypocrite, IF there is any truth in this.
  2. I think the Celtic fans should be pressuring their own board for an answer on what way they're going to vote rather than threatening boycotts etc. Like I've said before, they have the most to lose, not just financially. My guess is they're staying silent, hoping enough of the other clubs declare a yes vote beforehand so they can vote no & come out with what they wanted in the 1st place & also save face with their fans by voting no & blaming it on all the other clubs!
  3. For me, if Sky try to renegotiate the deal downwards due to 'them' not being in the league, the automatic & obvious response is for a boycott of Sky by the real Scottish football fans. After the recent announcement of the obscene amount they are going to plough into the EPL, the fact they may punish Scottish Football if we do what is clearly the RIGHT thing, I would find that completely abhorrent & my Sky/ESPN subscriptions would be cancelled immediately. A question I have, as I have not read/seen anything on it, is how are Celtic likely to vote? Reading around forums it seems to be the common perception that they are voting no, but I'm not aware that the club have given any official indication on this. I would think that putting aside the obvious rivalry, Celtic would be the biggest losers if Rangers are given their due punishment. Voting yes though would obviously put their fans in direct conflict with their board, the same position we find ourselves in today.
  4. If our club were to vote them back in, I would be absolutely disgusted. The club will lose money either way - Go against your own fans wishes & vote them in then said fans will not turn up/buy merchandise etc. I accept there may be a reduction in revenue without the bigots, but at least you keep the real life blood of the club, the fans, on side. Surely much more important. That is without even mentioning 'sporting integrity'. I live in England, most people can't even believe that the league would be entertaining allowing a newco straight back in. It wouldn't happen in the EPL, & more importantly for me, if it were Motherwell reforming as a newco, there would be absolutely 0 chance of us getting straight back into the SPL.
