  1. watch 'Simply The Greatest' near the end when we're singing WHEN THE WELL... GO UP.... TAE LIFT THE SCOTTISH CUP... WE'LL BE THERE... WE'LL BE THERE!!!! i have no idea how that would calm you down, but that's what i'm doing anyway
  2. They announced that it stood at 6000 early Wednesday morning, so you had all of Wednesday, Thursday and today, so i would imagine that the figure now stands a bit above 6,500
  3. see on ebay, is it like on Play and Amazon where you give them your bank card number and they take money directly from there, or do you have to transfer money into a Paypal account first then they take money from that?
  4. is the alternative taking her to a shopping centre?
  5. tis for me too. then again i am unemployed i am shittin it. The disappointment from a defeat on saturday would probably be the most painful thing to happen in my time supporting Motherwell. Then again a win would be the best! LET'S DO IT MOTHERWELL!
  6. with 5000 sold at lunchtime today or thereabouts, and with the rest of the week to go, i see no reason why we couldn't double that at take 10,000
  7. i know Jay, I think i might be getting a bit too caught up in the hype methinks! I'm usually more self disciplined than this. I've just never seen a better opportunity for a Motherwell team to grab greatness by the baws St Johnstone certainly will not be pushovers. I've seen many glorious failures watching Motherwell, and if everything goes tits up, i'll still be there next week. Because that's just the way football goes sometimes that said, LETS FUCKIN DO THIS MOTHERWELL!!
  8. i know in recent years, Dunfermline took 18,000 or thereabouts for a final with Celtic. Dundee United had 20,000 for a final against Rangers. Granted, United are a bigger team but i don't think an allocation of 20,000 against Celtic is tooooo out of our reach. As for the semi that we must win of course, 4,500 been sold by lunchtime 5 days prior to the game? I think we can expect a very healthy flurry for tickets in the remaining days to take us well over the 6,000 mark. And like you said, even with a 6,000 'Well support we can still make a right racket! MON THE WELL!
  9. i could be pedantic and say we weren't at home
  10. given that we took 16,000 to the final in 2005 with Rangers, and the fact that the Scottish Cup is bigger PLUS all the hype around it being 20 years since we won the cup, i think if we got to the final with Celtic we could be looking at near on 20,000 'Well fans at Hampden, and perhaps even more if it was Aberdeen since some people are put off games involving the Old Scum here's hoping
  11. good points EightSixteen. It would be a pain in the arse though, should this ever happen, being refused extra tickets because the buyers would then not have an over zealous nazi steward looking after them. And the fact you might not get a pie. Every minor detail that was once irrelevant in football, say 30-40 years ago, now has massive relevance in the eyes of the powers that be. They really are a silly bunch
  12. it ain't gonna happen, but imagine if we sold 12,000 and were refused anymore in what was still gonna be an under half empty hampden. That would be ridiculous
  13. semi final fever is really gonnae pick up pace now! yeeeeeeeeeeeees!
  14. am i the only one that's indifferent towards Hearts fans? shoot the old firm that's what i say!
  15. Christ, if you thought your atmospheric experience was good last night EightSixteen, last week's game with United would have melted yer face
  16. To be fair, it would probably make any man behave in an unsavoury fashion if they had to hear the chant of 'rapist' anytime they went to work, particulary if you have not been convicted of anything. Just saying like.
  17. if i'm looking at the right one, is that not how alot of messageboards are laid out? even FirParkCorner for example don't like it when they're that way though
  18. Welcome to Motherwell Maurice Haha he looks like an ex member of the SS on the photies on the official website! All that's missing is a wee Stone Island jacket
  19. have to say, what a ridiculous decision this is to have supporters in 3 different sections of the ground. The beauty of trips to Hampden is that the 'singers' are mixed with the 'non singers' and this ultimately leads to everyone singing That's what was great about our european ties at Airdrie aswell, because nobody could go 'all the singers will be at the bottom of the East Stand so we'll go there' This wouldn't be so bad if the rest of our fans were right next to these sections but there's a big bloody gap!
  20. I agree. These type of decisions make scenarios like that very exciting. Then again, they're awful when they go against you. there's a few pros and cons i have in my head, so im not quite sure where i'd stand in that debate. I do know, however, that if it was Scotland who had that disallowed goal against Germany in WC2010, instead of England, i'd be hurting to this day good job it was England then!
  21. one of my favourite games was when we drew 3-3 with Celtic at Fir Park in October 2000 I was 8, and i remember us getting a penalty, and my dad lifting me up to see it in the East Stand. Ged Brannan, my first 'Well hero, scored and it was brilliant Celtic also had a disallowed goal that night, and the ball was about 2 foot over the line
  22. forgive my ignorance, but what does NSFW stand for? i got all excited about these highlights so i typed NSFW into google, and landed on a porn site!
  23. Saunders reminds me of a baby giraffe. Because of his legs and that.
  24. i get scared when a big lovely carrot is dangled infront of us. i sense that the 29th is gonna be one of those nights where you don't know if your heart can take it, and you feel a wee bit light headed but i wouldnt have it any other way. MON THE WELL!

''alot of the section was h**s aswell'' mhanky goons who don't realise we hate their scummy nieghbours Rangers aswell. going by the state of their fans, its a wonder how they can afford £25 to come to Fir Park old firm logic is just baffling.
