If we finish second this year I think it will be our greatest achievement of the modern era of the club. We have the smallest squad by far in the SPL but are clear in second. Also signing Faddy has been a masterstroke from the club as I think it has had the same effect as signing Ojamma last season. Roll on another Euro adventure!

Tell you what with a bit more game time Higginbotham could be a very important player for us. Certainly got bags of potential. Would like to see him here as a signed up player next season.

It would bring fuck all to our game. It staggering that when times are so tight and clubs are scraping for every penny they feel that its right to vote in a system that could potentially cost the club thousands of pounds 'if' we were to finish second. Motherwell and all the other clubs must come out and explain this decision to the fans as we are the ones trying to go the extra mile for our clubs only for it to get spat back in our faces.

Yep. They essentially have no money as their current wage bill is unsustainable. The problem is current squad is pish and has no re sale value. Unlike Celtic who have a squad which could be valued close to 50 million. So Green has to either raise more money or keep spunking it away on a dreadful team.

They have an operating loss of 7 million. They also have 22 million in the bank which means they can continue this current trend until they get the first division and then they will start actually losing money.
