I actually thought it was just one of those games. We had loads of bad luck in the game and apart from the first goal were actually playing not too bad. Not brilliant, but certainly getting in about them. We do look very weak at the back, but is that not down to an ever changing back line with two very inexperienced players in Kerr and Cummins? We also have the problem of squad size. None of these players are being challenged on their position so get comfortable. We need to get some players in to start to put some pressure on guys like Murphy and Hateley. The January transfer window is looking like a key date for us. As for the league. I think we have a good enough squad to get a top six place, but McCall needs to sort out his tactics and also try and find some creativity in the team as nobody seems to want to take on that role. This season was always going to be tough for us and I thought that at the time losing Jennings, Craigan and Clancy was a big problem and we have essentially replaced them with rookies. Why? Cause we have zero cash and can't afford decent players wages. It's a bit of a catch 22 situation we are in.

I can't really see how stands could be redeveloped in the stadium while we still use it as a ground. A logistical safety nightmare. Best option would be a ground share for a season. Fix the East and POD Move back in. If the rumours are true that these stands are close to closing anyway then we better get it sorted soon.

You lot say the same shite every season and every season we do well. We have a young squad who are not going to be consistent every game. So going back a few years and the fact we have lost quite a lot to Rangers and Celtic which is to be expected and the fact we have lost European Games to teams with 20 times our budget means that McCall is a poor manager? Why not judge him on his performances against teams at a similar level? Which I am pretty sure will be excellent. Wednesday was a terrible night for the club, but it was one game. If we finish second or third again this season with the small sqaud we have it will be another amazing achievement from McCall.

It wasn't a pointless statement. As I have said before the more rangers fans that went to the game the more money we got. All they did was a wee bit of good will spin to in the hope a few more orcs got through the door. Yes it's brown nosing and it doesn't sit we'll with me, but I don't look at the balance sheet everyday at Motherwell.

Massive over reaction. Yes we were shite and I was gutted as the rest of us to lose, but to question McCalls allegiance is poor form as is questioning the players commitment to Motherwell. The reason we lost and the reason we always lose to Rangers is our total inability to look at them as equals. We put them on the pedistal and it gets into the head of the players. It would not suprise me one bit if we ended getting a result against Celtic. Our issue with Rangers is now totally a mental problem. We need to instil the belief we can beat them. My only hope is we don't play them for a few years and forget all that has went before!

Shambles. I turned it off after the second goal and played pirate ships with my wee boy. There is something seriously wrong with our club and Rangers. I understand we might get beat, but its the manner of these defeats. In the 50 mins I watched we looked pedestrian and hardly put a tackle in. Sevco on the other hand got stuck right in and won the midfield battles. Brutal.

That statement is just Motherwell doing a bit of PR to get more Rangers fans to go to the game. The more that go the more money we make. We say we like Rangers and hope they can build for the future. An amazing start to the season. Unbeaten, scored more goals than anyone else. Yes of course we will lose goals this season, we have an 18 year old and a 21 year old as our central defence partnership, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Fucking delighted these young guys are coming in a doing so well. Lets not forget we have signed one player in the summer and he has hardly played. This success is down to the young guys coming in and taking their chance. Fucking delighted with where we are as a team right now.

I can understand the worry that we will not beat Rangers, but have you actually had a look at their squad? It's shite. They are playing the worst teams in the Scottish football system and basically struggling against them. There are only two players actually there playing for the shirt. McCulloch and Wallace. The rest are there for the mental wages they are throwing out. We are by far the favourites in this game, but I agree we might get beat and thats just football. But let's cut the crap that we are playing some great team. We are not and should have enough quality and experience to beat them comfortably.
