  1. You sure about that? He has hardly played in about 3 years!
  2. McFadden is past it. Time to move on.
  3. Thats a good point. This season we have played them 3 times and are unbeaten - we certainly shouldn't fear them. Anyway I think two more wins and we will be too far in front.
  4. Did someone mention Thai Tims in the UK?
  5. Dunfermline are total cannon fodder, but they are fighting for their lives and possible existence going by some fans information on their dire financial state. This will not be a walk over, but I do think their confidence is at an all time low and if we can get the first goal then it will be a rout. If they get it then it could be squeaky bum time.
  6. I think since the weekends results the goalposts have changed slightly. Rangers: They are a wounded animal, but they do seem to have a good team spirit behind them as was seen in the thrashing of ICT. I think if Rangers keep their current squad then they should get 2nd, but if there are some major player cuts then I think they might drop a god few points between now and the end of the season. Motherwell: Saturday was a wee blip but not unexpected. A win at Dunfermline would see us back on track. A Dunfermline (Win) H Aberdeen (Win) A Kilmarnock (Draw) H Rangers (Loss) A Hibernian (Draw) That would give us 8 points going into the split and put us at 56 points and hopefully we would still have a decent cushion of points in third place. Hearts: They seem to have lost their way big style and have only got 1 point in 15. One more defeat and I think we can count them out of the race. St Johnstone: A bit of a dark horse. Have been poor over the last few weeks, but maybe their win against Dunfermline will push them on a bit. But I think we should hopefully be at least 6 or more points ahead by the split. Dundee Utd: For me these guys are the biggest threat. Looking really strong right now and have the momentum. They also have a decent run in so could grab a few more points. The huge bonus for us is that we are currently 11 points ahead of them so if we can keep that cushion going into the split we should be fine. Aberdeen: Not a threat, but could make the top six ahead of Hearts going on current form. Bascially I think the games against Dunny and Aberdeen are huge and if we win these it will go a huge way to sealing third spot. Long long way to go though.
  7. What the fuck! I like Nicky Law as much as the next man, but Jesus H Fuck - he needs to sort out his head wear.
  8. I'd buy that for a dollar!
  9. Wheest Diggle. Nabody likes yer ska, mod pish. Yer living in the past. Cannot beat a bit of Adele mixed in with Chumbawumba through a fucked speaker. Its the future.
  10. Anyone know when the BBC will put the highlights up?
  11. I love games like this. Fuck defending. Its overrated.
  12. Higdon has been brilliant all season. Anyone who says otherwise is a ballbag...

    He was fucking rank!
  14. See that Puma hoody that Tom is wearing - do you have any of them in medium?
  15. I say throw in Carswell. If we lose we are still 9 points clear in Third - so we can afford to gamble slightly. If Carswell doesn't fit the bill then just play Forbes. Or move Law into the middle and play Humphrey on the wing.

See in the highlights of the build up to the third goal against Hearts the commentator says he was lucky with the break of the ball, but see if you look at it closer I think he meant it. Absolutely Flawless!
  17. They are totally and utterly fucked Gaag. This week will prove it. I expect a total fire sale. Most players will be shown the door. There is no way on earth Sally will be able to motivate these guys for the rest of the season - especially considering Europe is a total fucking pipe dream.

I think a lot of it might have been down to his previous experience. He basically played at a very low level (Finnish 2nd division I think) and it might have been the case that he was decent in training, but the management weren't convinced he could step up onto an SPL level. Luck have it we got him on a short term and he ripped the SPL to shreads and now we have him for two years. Its just a lucky story, but I do agree it is worrying we couldn't even afford to pay him a decent wage, but is that just the cold hard face of Scottish football?
