  1. The point is that some people pay their season ticket money and don't feel the need to invest more money into the club. Just because the scheme is there doesn't automatically mean that people should sign up. Also why would it be embarrassing? Oh dear - small provincial club fails to raise enough cash for ownership in the middle of a downturn where fans are already paying way over the odds for a pretty sub standard product. There is nothing to be ashamed of there.
  2. Aye top 6 is sorted. A win tomorrow and Europe will be that little bit closer. Lots of games to go and I am sure we will have another wee dip in form before the season is over. Its interesting that we went on a bit of a slump when Jennings got injured. That could easily happen again.
  3. Are they fuck. They are terrible.
  4. Could be some great teams in the semi finals. Possible Motherwell, Hibs, Hearts and Celtic. That would be a tasty combination.
  5. I would love to spunk Craig and Archie oot the cup. It really would be fucking amazing!

The thing with Ojamma for me is his finishing. All his goals have been excellent finishes and that's his biggest asset. Also his link up play with the front line has been immense. Hence the reason he has set-up 5 goals for his team mates. For me he looks the real deal and I can easily see him get into double figures for the season which is a superb return for only coming in on January. Great bit of business from McCall and the back room staff.

What's Ojammas stats? To my thinking it's 6 games played. 5 goals and 5 assists. Could be wrong though.
  8. Just making an observation that people don't have a lot of money floating about and if they are already paying for a season ticket they might find another £300 or so a bit hard to come by. And with that in mind I don't think enough money will be raised. Maybe I will be proved wrong - I hope I am, but as I say gut feeling says we won't raise the capital.
  9. Gut feeling is that it won't work. Times are too tight right now.
  10. Are you allergic to pens?
  11. Did you just make that up? bet you did...
  12. Funny all the people speculating on how much was bid - not one official statement has been made about this transfer - yet we are all up in arms about the size of the transfer fee. Mental.
  13. Would you want to live in Blackpool?
  14. Has he not just had one long term injury? Craig Brown never played him - he wasn't injured the whole time.
  15. I would be amazed if any of our players left in this window. Only thing I can see happening is an Ojamma extension. Also Hutchy is worth over 2 million in my book.

I agree its unjust, but Ojamma did accept the deal. I recently got offered a freelance job that paid just over minimum wage - I told them it was too low for what they were asking. Basically we need to sign the guy now and on a 2 year deal.
  17. Scars? Fuck sake! You know your argument is pish so are trying to gloss it over and make it sound like a terrorist atrocity. 6 points clear in third place - read that steel boy and then think about yer pishy post.
  18. I actually think the reaction from SFA officials tells its own story. They know this rule is total nonsense and know its going to open a huge can of worms and they are panicking big time. Broadfoot should be sacked. He cannot talk like that to SFA members in an official capacity on a public forum.
  19. Just sent this to the SFA: Dear Vincent Lunny, I have to say I find your decision to ban Michael Higdon for one game an absolute scandal. The fact that not one member of the public complained about this so called gesture says it all. What I want to know is: A - How did you know it was perceived as an inflammatory gesture and not just a celebration in scoring a goal? B - If it was an inflammatory gesture then who was it aimed at? To me it looks like its aimed at the centre circle of the pitch C - How were you informed of this gesture. Was it an official referees report or did you just watch Sportscene on Sunday night? The SFA are dragging the Scottish game into the gutter and by paying people like Vincent Lunny to provide trial by TV cases every week it just exasperates us fans even further until we get to the point we walk away from the game we love. And going by attendances this season you are all doing a grand job. Regards Peter Johnstone
  20. Huge game. Win it and top six is sorted and we will have gone a massive step towards getting that Euro spot also. St Johnstone have proved this season they are a very good team (in fact some might say have been better than us) so this will be a tough game. I just hope the last two results have brought the confidence back to the squad and we can get the three points.
  21. Its sad that our game has come to this. Its descending into a farce in that we talk more about 'gestures' than we do the actual football matches. Also I still cannot believe that a player can be banned for such a trivial offence. Its just mental. If we are using TV evidence to incriminate players then we must use the same system for Referees. They are also part of the SFA and must be held accountable.

Never know - he has been getting a fair bit of press.
  23. Craggs went in with the nut. Was a bit of handbags, but the ref is using the letter of the law. Two good results on the bounce and a welcome 4 points. A win against St Johnstone would be a massive result and I think would cement our top six place. It will be a very hard game though. Thought the starting line up last night was perfect and suits our style of play perfectly. Hopefully we can use that same formation against the Saints.
  24. I think the issue with the Higdon gesture is that I doubt anyone apart from Rob McLean at Sportscene will have raised it. As fans we should just boycott the programme and their website. Players are human and react just like we do. If I was getting pelter's all game from fans and scored a goal in the heat of the moment I might also gesture towards them - its a pretty natural thing to do. But now we have this ridiculous situation where a BBC TV programme is lording it over who plays and who gets banned. What would happen if the camera caught me in the crowd giving the wanker sign to a player, would I get pulled up for it? I doubt it.
