You have to remember that guys like Hutchinson, Page, Murphey etc are still very young and Motherwell will not want to risk burn out on these guys so it makes sense to increase the squad size. All I am saying is that the times he has been on the pitch (which isn't much) he has looked like he could be a decent player. He obviously isn't great or he would be getting a game every week, but he certainly hasn't looked like a total haddy that some are saying he is on these boards.

He almost played a defence splitting pass against ICT. In fact all the time he was on I thought he did alright. Never lost the ball and found the right pass.

Tell you what if we did sign David Healy then it would be some coup. But I think there is more chance of the Beatles reforming than that happening.

We were doing fine before Brown and Knox went - after that it went a bit tits up. But under Brown I would say that Craigan and Reynolds were excellent.

Hutchinson was rushed back from injury which then set him back for the remainder of the season. Brown and Knox came in and Reynolds and Craigan formed an excellent defensive record and I think they were then unsure about breaking that partnership up. They also never got injured. Overall Reynolds and Craigan over the last year or so have been excellent. So I can understand why Hutchinson has had to wait for his chance. If he plays like he did against ICT then he will be getting a game every week. He is only 19.

The conditions for football were rank rotten yesterday, but that doesn't excuse so of the awful football from both sides. There was a point when Stuart Duff has the easiest pass in the world to Foran and he was in on goal and the guy hit it about ten yards to far by him. Also Foran with all the time in the world to throw in a cross scuffed it of his ankle. Then there was our terrible passing in the final third. I think Jennings must have passed to more ICT players and Motherwell ones. Its when you see all this in front of you, then you have to start questioning the standard of our game. Both teams struggled to put together more than four passes in a row or needed at least two to three touches to get the ball under control. Christ thats what I need to do when I am playing football. The difference is I don't get paid a grand a week for it. The only positive from yesterday was that Shaun Huchinson is the real deal and actually looks like a footballer. It is all doom and gloom and the only solution is for the SPL, SFA and whoever else is in that big thick soup of administration, to get the cost of the game down and try and bring in more money to help the game. The fact that the quality has gone down, but the price has gone up is the reason the attendances have fallen. In any other business the company would end up going bust if they continued down the same road. All this talk of league reconstruction does nothing to hide the fact we have players in our top division that would struggle in League 2 in England. I don't understand why we don't send all the SFA cronies to Norway and come back with a blue print exactly like their league and action it. Unless something happens quick its Game Over.

Probably not, but as others have said that 80K is probably covering the costs of losses made from games being cancelled i.e. Hearts and also our poor sponsor deal.

This is a total myth. All money we make on gates, tv, strips, food etc probably just covers the cost of running the club. Only money from the sale of players can go towards a new player. Basically we need to sell Reynolds to make any signings in the transfer market or get some free transfers which is tricky in january.
