Cracking result despite their last minute 'nalty. From the highlights we looked dangerous up until we scored then it looked like we sat back a bit. Not sure though. Also from the highlights its seems as though Hateley and Murphy both had good games which is pleasing. We really have a good advantage now. Its sounds like they don't travel too well and seem to struggle on grass pitches. So basically we need to create an intimidating atmosphere at Fir Park and really get them riled. Also they will have to chase the game which will put them at risk on the counter attack. Game on!

Of course I would take Hartley. Excellent player, but he is 33 and will be on at least 3-5 grand a week, maybe more. But I would rather invest the money in a younger player on a 3 year conttract and sell him on for a profit. Aka Hateley.

Both of these players don't excite me at all. Mind you Gary McDonald I seem to remember did chip in with a few goals for Aberdeen last season, but apart from that he seems average. Its also the type of player we don't need. We have loads of midfield options. As for Casagolda. I think I will take Broomfields opinion over Hammerfist to be honest.

When on form we have matched or been better than most teams in the SPL - this includes Rangers and Celtic. The problem is we have not really found that form since our 3-1 demolition of Hearts. If we could get that back then I would be more confident. My worry is we still seem to lack that match sharpness and its causing us problems, especially at the back where we seem quite fragile. Key players for me will be Lasley, Jennings and Murphy. They will hold the keys to unlocking this team I think.
