This is all a bit shite is it not. We are in the worst form in years, the players seem lost, the loanee signings will probably not come back, we now have no manager and to top it all off the chances of us brining in anyone in January looks non existent. Fucking shite being a Motherwell fan during Christmas in the last few years.

I'm happy with what Gannon is trying to do. What I am not happy with is the constant changing of the first team line up. I don't think we have played consecutive halfs with the same squad and tactic never mind games. In my opinion its causing the team problems.

You are missing the point he is complaing about refs across the board. Not just what goes in our favour. I agree, some of Gannons decisions have been quite strange, but the way I look at it is this. Gannon does not want our team to close down and tackle, he wants us to play a passing game that is patient and builds from the back. He is teaching young players to play the game properly and if that means we don't win much then 'thats life'. Its a learning experience You need time to create a decent team and also time to make them do what you want. Some of the criticsm on here baffles me sometimes. This is a fresh start for a very very young team and it might take one season, it might take two, but I hope by the end of it we are watching really good football at Fir Park, win lose or draw. We can maon all we want about results and team selection, but the fact of the matter is we are watching a team learning a new skill - passing! Not many teams in the SPL do that very well.

If he goes he goes. Frees up a wage to get another player. Would be a bit gutted to lose him as he has won us a good few points with his runs into the box. Ach well we have lost worse!

Oh forgot about that. Back to sitting behind my computer, playing Fm2010 and wondering when Motherwell will be signing Xavi.

Celtic will give us space allowing us to play the passing game Gannon wants us to play. Thus it will be a close game. Did Celtic suddenly become World beaters over night? They still have a very fragile defence, which can be exploited. Can't see a win for us, but if we get in about them then it might go the same way as the Rangers game early on in the season.

Richie Foran? Seriously? What exactly would he offer us that John Sutton or Lukas won't? Fuck all!

Forbes is a young kid who is in his first season in the SPL. He has scored 9 goals from midfield. appeared in most games. Where in that exactly is he now looked on as 'pish' We are playing kids give them a fucking break!

I thought Lasley had quite an impact when he came on. Set up a valid goal and a wonder save stopped him getting the winner.

You lot crack me up. We are a team full of teenages or guys in their early 20's who didn't even know each other a few months ago. I seriously thought we were going to be relegation fodder this year. The start we have made to this season has been nothing short of stunning.

What about the other 26 games of the season. Vital, not so vital, or very very vital?

McGarry had one good game for us against St Mirren when we scored that wonder goal. Thats it. Nothing more to see here.

If this is the case then is it down to tactics? I mean if he is so exposed at the back and I have noticed this on many occasion at Fir Park, then is that side of the pich getting enough protection? If you watch us over the last few games - so many times the game gets dragged over to the left of the pitch and this always seems to leave huge gaps on the right. Which the opposition are exposing. No really sure why this happens as Football tactics are not my strong point, but its something I have noticed.

The boy is inconsistent, but so are quite a few players in the team. Does it help that in nearly every game Gannon has changed tactics and moved players around? Could this be a factor in some players being waaaaaay out of position. Yass was the worst player on the park against Aberdeen, but was pretty good against Hearts.

I think he might if he stays for the season. Seems to have the confidence back and is not afraid to lash it towards goal - something a lot of the squad are guilty of not doing.

The only team that has beat them this season is us. Of course we can beat Dundee Utd. Just because they beat Celtic doesn't make them this team we should fear. We are doing really well this season and if we beat DU then we will be mixing it with the rest in a top of table battle. Mental I know, but lets not forget that this season Rangers and Celtic are just a tiny bit better than the rest - maybe not even that which might make this one of the best seasons in decades. If we can keep up this consistency then we just be up there come January! I say 1-0 to Motherwell. Also note to Gannon - if it ain't broke - don't fix it.

What is it with our club and Managerial gossip? IF this does happen I would be raging, but persoanlly I can't see it.

Fraser will get punted. McGarry will get punted. Lasley will get punted. Don't think we will be too quick to get rid of Craigan though. Fitzy and DLS have yet to prove themselves to Gannon as they have been injured during his whole tenure. I think they will stay.

Chris Porters against Aberdeen was a memorable one. Also the double from Porter against Hearts was also a bit mental. In fact I miss Porter...
