Christ, give the man the job! If we end up with some old school Scot, when we could get a young dynamic Dutch coach who insists youth is the way forward then its curtains for the well!
-
I voted no - his time is up and he has shown he does not want to remain at Fir Park. We need a positive outlook on the club, someone who wants to remain at the club for a long time and try and build up something. Not a one year and am now need to move on man. Jim Jeffries might be a moaning bastard, but he has always remained very, very loyal to the clubs he has managed and I respect that. He has been at Kilmarnock for 7 years now.

No he was killed in a dare devil motorcycle accident. Tried to jump 15 instead of his normal 10 double deckers. Thoughts are with the family.

I would turn Motherwell into the Real Madrid of Scotland and buy up all the top talent in the Country. Quality players like Ross Tokley, Stuart Duff, Christian Dailly would be brought in to show the world that I mean business. I would employ a seat cleaner to clean all the dried pigeon shit of the seats in the East Stand. I would employ an expert marksman wired into the East Stand. So a shoot on site policy is upheld if any shite patter is heard in the stands.

George Weah with Carlos Valderama as his assistent. While you are at it throw in Recbar Rustu as you coach. What a team!

Not really, we have tiny wage budget compared to them and if the worst comes to the worst then we can release players on higher wages. Can you imagine Rangers or Celtic getting rid of most of their top names while still charging the same amount for their season tickets? There would be outcry. Anyway its all hearsay as I fully expect something to be ironed out in the next week as no one is going to dismiss the money that can be made from screening Rangers and Celtic games.

I always loved watching football behind a white tape with a crowd of 50 on an ash park! Looks like it could be making a comeback! To be fair its Rangers and Celtic who will be fucked enourmously by this. Us and other clubs have the ability to manage it by freeing up wages and playing youngsters which we would accept. The evil hordes of Glasgow would not accept such a resolution on their great clubs! I feel that a deal will be churned out with some company be it Sky, ESPN or the BBC - but someone will want the revenue from the Old Firm games.

I have kept pretty quiet on all of this and I said from the start as soon as Jimmy Calderwood left Aberdeen that McGhee would go for the job. What’s surprised me is his total contempt for the club. He said last season in his own words we were the best side outside the old firm. If that’s the case then why go to Aberdeen? He also wrote an article in the Sunday Herald bumming up to the Aberdeen Faithful say it was like going ‘home’. What a load of old bollocks considering the same time he was writing that he was finishing off his Celtic application form. As soon as Celtic told him he wasn’t good enough he is back on the phone to Aberdeen and spouting more crap in the press. The guy has been great for us, no doubt about that, but I for one am sick to the teeth of his bullshit and even if he ends up not getting the Aberdeen job for whatever reason we should just tell him to leave. He has cut his ties with the club over this whole managerial merry go round so I am cutting mine with him.

McGhee will go to Aberdeen. No doubt about it. I have already given up any hope of keeping him this summer.

Not a chance! Back to work under Romanov! He live in Hamilton and I think would look at a local club to play for when his contract runs out. Enter Motherwell....
-
Just thinking, players like Paul Hartley, Cillian Sheridan, Paul Caddis, Lee Naylor etc could well be shown the door when the new manager comes in. Also if its Slavan Bilic who says he wants the job then I think he would bring in his own brand of football which might mean a mass exodus of players. I for one would think Hartley would be an ideal player for us!

Tell you what would be a belter - Inter Baku! Baku is a stunning city in Azerbajan. Mind you getting there would be impossible unless you have a small fortune. Also Tbilisi is a great city, but again you would be hard pressed getting there for anything under £700 I can't go to any away apart from Wales! Good stuff though and also a decent chance of progressing!

I'd take Susan Boyle in a heartbeat. Quality totty to look at from the stand. She will also get her shouts from the pitch across crystal clear. Heard she is also into football.
-
I know thats exactly what I thought! The kids voice is still to break. I always think at about 15 or 16 you really know the potential of a player. Maybe I am wrong, but it seems daft to think a 9 year is going to become a great player. Fair play to Motherwell though for signing him to their books - best place for the lad!

This image always cracks me up and they alwasy show it when they talk about this game. Never mind the greetin, but what the flying fuck is that hat all about?
-
Can't say I am too fussed about Klimpl going. In about the last five matches he has looked shite. If he stays then fair enough, but to be honest I think he is pretty over rated.

Are you going to take close up photos to give us a wee sneaky peak at the pitch being ripped up. Was thinking close ups of grass, pipes and mud might work well....

Game of the season: Motherwell 1 v 1 Celtic - Just really enjoyed this game, we played quite well and a last few minutes equaliser was the nuts. Goal of the season: John Suttons wonder strike against Rangers at Ibrox. Player of the season: Its a toss up between Stephen Craigan and Paul Quinn, but I think I will give it to Quinn. Has been consistent all season and has had a great end to the campaign. Best moment: The atomosphere in Nancy and the first 15 minutes of the Fir Park games. Great times and very memorable. Worst Moment: The fact our pitch wasn't fixed is a real low point for me. If fixed, we could have been in the top six. Also losing Chris Porter. Suprise of the year: Getting into Europe via the fair play league! Worst player of the year: Bob Malcom by a mile. One good free kick and then he vanished like a genie into a lamp. Young player of the year: Jim O'Brien - from that horror show on his debut to where he is now is a remarkable turn around. Overall: A bit of a dull season to be fair, but our wee Euro adventure and the fact we are in it again makes this season better than average: 6/10

If thats the case the what the hell are we playing at! If he stays injury free then he could be our answer to the problems we have had for years in defence (No height, poor distribution)
-
Is Brian McLean signing a new deal with us? If he isn't then I would be pretty miffed. He has come through two major injuries with us and is starting to show that he is an excellent centre back. Out of him, Hughes and Smith - its McLean I would rather keep. If he is stalling on a new contract then its pretty dissapointing news.
-
Its been a good wee PR campaign and its worked. We are all talking about the new strip, instead of just seeing it released, its created a bit of excitement. Anyone who can moan about this is clearly not getting out in the fresh air enough.
-
Steven Hammell by a country mile!
-
McGhee are you reading? A big centre half who can score goals.....mind you is he taller than 6'3?
-
Good stuff lads. Nothing better than getting one over the English!
