Just watched the highlights on MFC TV. Absolute horror show. Defending for the goals was appalling, even non existent. Hard to say who was meant to be picking up at the back post for the 3rd goal, but the guy was completely unmarked. Ross County took all 3 well to be fair. We didn't have one meaningful effort on goal by the looks of it. Surely Saunders has to be in with a shout of playing on Wednesday after that? Can we recall Page? McCall does seem suitably raging in his post match interview at least.

Possibly Melvin. Playing him in his favoured position would certainly help... Somethings certainly happened since last Saturday where we played so well to playing 2 games in 4 days, losing both, being hammered in one, and have never even looked like scoring in either. As I said, a few questions need asked but won't get that as the MSM don't give a fuck and MFC TV won't go there.

I feel we are under a bit of pressure to take something from this game after the defeat v Killie and especially after Tuesday. Failure to do so would mean our points haul for 2013 so far, with Celtic on Wednesday, couldn't be construed as anything other than, well...pish!! I'd play Randolph Saunders Hutchy Ramsden Hammell Higginbotham Law Lasley Angol McFadden Higdon Or the team and formation that started v Aberdeen on Boxing Day, but with Faddy or Higginbotham in for Murphy.

Highlights were painful and worrying to watch. Defence was like the fucking keystone cops; torn apart time and time again, and only a miracle it wasn't a gubbing.

Hateley needs taken of corner duty now. Delivery is shocking. Failure to beat the man at the front post allowed them to break up the park and score. It concerns me that McCall brought on Faddy and stuck him out on the left wing. It also concerns me that Humphrey can be having such a bad game, and despite the numerous attacking options, still complete 90 minutes. We shat in the nest big time last night, and yet is was so predictable. Worst I've felt after a game since the sevco debacle. Told y'all we should never has moved the original game!!

Cannae argue wi that. Brilliant. Everyone played well. Really like the look of Higginbottom. Law was outstanding.

I'm not sure that's entirely fair on the club Yoshi. There are hundreds (if not thousands) of lapsed Motherwell fans out there that have either got out of the habit if going to the games regularly, or just can't be arsed anymore.

Butcher might have a point. Could you argue that Motherwell doesn't deserve Motherwell FC as our crowds have been piss poor also? Probably will be a poor crowd tomorrow, despite the fact if we win we go second! We really all should be more excited than we are at our current standing.

I really hope talks to keep Higdon Randolph and Law have started and we've not resigned ourselves to losing them.

Having watched the highlights.....where are the sitters people have been talking about? A lack of composure or failing to get proper connection maybe, but hardly open goals. Kerrs red card. A bit of a mad swing but looked worse than it was. Yellow would've done. Lasleys red card. Aye it was, and it was a fucking stupid tackle to make. Remember refs are like the polis. Dying to do you for an easy offence so don't give them the opportunity. Ref's eyes lit up when he got the chance to flash another red and Lasley made it easy for him. That said, would Scott Brown or McCulloch got a red straight red for that?... Thought Randolph could've done better with their 2nd goal. Powder puff header from the penalty spot out and seemed to go through him. Highlights didn't show any evidence of the great play McCall was talking about so I'll need to take his word for it that he was happy with everything else. Pals who were at the game really only mentioned under performing Hateley and Humphrey being passengers. But that was right after the game and they were a bit pissed off. Massive missed opportunity to go clear in 2nd and league is now even tighter than before, with United now looking good for going on a good run with their new manager (another reason not to have moved the game from Wednesday to Tuesday!!). Could finish anywhere between 2nd and 9th I reckon! Massive game next week and don't have Lasley now.

Surprised this hasn't been discussed more. Personally I can't see how McCall working with Scotland will be to Motherwells benefit, therefore I'm against it. I'm actually quite surprised he was even approached about it, let alone agreed to do it or was allowed by Motherwell to take the position, so I'd welcome other peoples thoughts on it.
