  1. Hammell deserves to be treated well. A real stalward and consistent performer his whole Motherwell career and in many peoples eyes, including mine, a legend. It would be a crying shame if he were to leave when it's pretty clear he would be happy to spend the rest if his career here.
  2. We finish 3rd and only our goalie makes team of the year?!?! Hammell should be in there. I guess Lasley and Jennings kicked too many players for them to get voted in. Can't think of any other reason. 5 United players in there is ridiculous. But they are all decent players to be fair.
  3. Funnily enough Special aka, if we were to be drawn against teams from those 4 countries you mention it would be the charter for me, or I wouldn't be going either.
  4. If we get there I'm going to try and get on the charter I've decided. The upside of getting an in hospitable team/place will be that it might deter the idiots that were in Nancy and Odense from going.
  5. I'd love to see Clarkson back at Motherwell. Number 10 on his back n'aw.
  6. Fantastic result under any normal circumstance but even more so last night with what was at stake. I questioned the players mental strength and they have answered that in the best possible way. Please forgive me!! The promised land is now so close we can almost touch it! Surely Utd won't win their next two games?
  7. I think all the games should be played at the same time at this stage of the season. I think we will do well to get a point against Hearts but as long as United lose it doesn't matter. It would just be typical if they won at Ibrox..
  8. Delighted to be eating humble pie this evening.
  9. Some good points there Mr Basement.
  10. I agree, but the thing is if we had played a better starting 11 with better tactics then I would quite fancy us to have taken something of theat Celtic side also!! That's what's so infuriating, especially considering what is at stake, with Sundays performance. This. Sadly.
  11. I'd love to believe you Bop, but what have you seen lately to suggest we are going to win next week and/or have enough about us to still clinch 3rd?
  12. Ok, I'm pretty angry from that today still, but for me, the players have chucked it. The recent performances at Rugby Park, Easter Road and then today are proof enough for me that the players don't have the mental strength when the going gets tough and the pressure is on and further more after that starting line up and tactics today from McCall, I have serious doubts that he is able to make the correct decisions also. Don't know what the score will be, but haven't seen anything lately to suggest this will be anything other than another defeat.
  13. At least we now know whether the players want 3rd place as much as the fans!! Absolutely pathetic and gutless showing with major questions to be asked if starting 11 and tactics. Nice one McCall. Way to go spunking away an 11 point lead.

    Rival Watch

I've been worried about throwing away 3rd place for weeks now as slowly but surely our previously seemingly insurmountable 11 point lead has been whittled away, but doesn't make it any easier to take. Winnable games at Rugby Park and Easter Road were passed up and we will live to regret not taking those opportunities I feel. I'm afraid to say I can't see this ending in anything other than tears but a win tomorrow and I might just start to believe again!
  15. Good news. Time for that clown of a ref to be investigated now? Thought not.
  16. I fully expect a defeat but will still be really down if that comes to pass. A draw wouldn't be the worst result provided Utd and Saints draw on Saturday. Who knows though? I predict Celtic will get some major decisions as the authorities seek to counter the mhankies foundationless grievancies from last Sunday.

    The Run In...

Don't get me wrong, I may display a worried demeanour on here but I'm raring to get to the games and get behind them.

    The Run In...

The people that are underestimating us may well have been at Easter Road though. Nicky Law is right but I don't know who these 2 wins are going to come against if we couldn't beat Killie or Hibs.
  19. Having seen the highlights, Randolph really should've done better with the free kick. In my opinion.
  20. Why did it take us till the second half to start playing? We were absolutely howling in the first half!!! Really disappointing. Nobodys mentioned O'Connor should've been off!! Has a kick after the ball is gone and is only booked?!?! Also, what was Humphrey booked for? Looked very soft yellow from where I was sitting.
  21. I would agree with that Fat Tony.
  22. If we match utd and St Johnstones results this weekend then i think we're looking good. Defeat for us coupled with wins for pur rivals will mean it's anybodys though. I would be pretty gutted to not finish 3rd now after being there nearly the full season and worse still throwing away an 11 point lead in the process. Hopefully the players want it as much as us.
  23. I signed up at the original night but wish I could've went along tonight. I would've loved a kick about on the pitch with the players!
  24. Highlights are up. Defending looked absolutely atrocious.
  25. Highlights are up. Defending looked absolutely horrendous.
