I've given up on Motherwell beating ever Rangers again and the fact that are keech and every man and their dug has taken points of them this season only compounds the misery.

Have better teams than us lost at Killie this season? I'm not sure they have. Especially not to such an injury ravaged team as Killie fielded today. I'm pretty sure Dumfermline, Hibs and Inverness have all win there this season also. It's the manner of the defeat more than anything...

If we lose next Saturday (and we almost certainly will), Utd will beat the pars and it's down to 5 points with us still to play Utd. Same goes for St Johnstone. You would've thought an 11 point gap would be a bridge too far for anyone to catch us but I've got the fear the season will fizzle out and we'll finish 5th.(which.I would've bit your hand off at the start of the season right enough, but not now!!)

Worryingly this sounds like a terrible performance and to make matters worse Jennings and hammel are now out for the game next week. There's no way 3rd place is sewn up and i hope we have the bottle to raise our game again.

Kenny Shiels is at it and he knows it!! Hopefully we can get a win but would be astonished if it's by the margin some are predicting.

I think it is time our club asked the sfa about the blatant double standards Vincent Lunny currently operates by. The rules are not being applied evenly here.

Aberdeen got exactly what they deserved. Fuck all!! Last sunday was a one off from them in recent years in terms of both performance and support. Can only agree with other posters comments regarding the youngsters and a fantastic effort all round from everyone else, if not entirely polished. I was screaming dogs abuse at Brines. He shat out of sending Constadine off for a number of second bookable offences and for another player leading with the elbow. However, having watched the highlights, Jennings appears to have got away with a, albeit unintentional, handball in the box near the end. Brines is still murder though.

This laughable decision is worse than their decision to pursue Higdons "offensive" gesture! I truly despair.

Not looking forward to this due to the most makeshift and inexperienced of centre half pairings turning out for us, but you never know as quite often in adversity teams can roll up their sleeves and prevail. Hopefully that will be the case. I have a feeling there will be a few goals in this game but can see us needing 3 or more to get anything from it. Would take a draw all things considered.

Whatever team lines up it's going to be extremely makeshift and we need to be patient and give them even more support than usual. We were absolutely atrocious when it mattered most. Poor decision for the non corner but it still had to be defended. Higdons penalty miss was a game changing moment and it was a terrible effort. Where was the defending for their second? At 2-0 it was game over as we weren't at the races right from the get go. I'm a massive Keith Lasley fan but he's really let everbody down by getting sent off as we are horrendously short for next week now. That said, Aberdeen just looked more up for it today for me. Reynolds strolled through the game and it was a poor show from the Well fans who booed him! I fear the worst for next Saturday now and really hope these suspensions don't derail our Euro push.

I face the mother of all conundrums this season in the Scottish cup. There is pretty much nothing on this earth that I want more than to see Motherwell win the Scottish Cup again and part of me thinks we are going all the way to the final this year (whether we win it is another matter..) It just so happens I have a very important wedding on May 19th!! My other half has been informed that if we make the final come hell or high water I will be there. This has no gone down well. The promise of my name being mud forever with the bride and groom will be hard to take but I'll get over it. I would never get over missing Motherwell win the cup. So, I don't know what to feel about Sunday. I hate Broon and have always hated Aberdeen and it would pain me greatly to lose to those fucks and end the cup dream for another year, but for the sake of an easy life it would probably be easier if we lost!!

This scenario barely seems real, but I can't, and won't, allow myself to properly celebrate it until it's a formality. Football is a cruel game.

Sadly not. Raith beat us at Fir Park only 3 days after "Jamie Dolan and Ian Ross" day and I think they beat us in 1995 also.

No surprises the BBC highlights miss out a major talking point when Ojamaa was adjudged to have fouled Wilson when he was through. The highlights also don't tell the full story of the game. They make out it was all one way traffic and we were battered for 90 minutes. That simply wasn't the case.

I don't think 3rd place is in the bag yet despite the sizable gap. I actually think the biggest threat to our aspirations are the suspensions and threat of suspensions that are coming up.

I wouldnae give Aberdeen fans the steam of ma shite!! Fuck them.They should be treated the same way we were at Pitoddrie in December.
