  1. steelboy, on 22 February 2012 - 11:27 PM, said: that's hutchy and clancy missing the same match. i think it will be the aberdeen spl game. if las or jenno get booked at parkhead they'll miss it as well. Aye. I think we'll have to do that as we literally don't have the bodies to cope otherwise.
  2. Great to get the win, sounds like some game. Tingled with a bit of sadness for me though as I couldn't make it. Surprised to hear our defending was so bad though?
  3. I don't think we should go to the game thinking all we have to do is turn up and the win is ours. It worries me when 'Well fans are over confident!
  4. I'm a bit worried these suspensions and looming suspensions are going to impact adversely on our season.
  5. I think it would be a major mistake to play hateley in midfield and move other players around who have been playing well to accomodate this. Wouldn't be surprised to see this though.

    Scottish Cup 2012

Oh fuck. I'm in trouble then as the bird is a bridesmaid at a friends wedding that day and if we reach the final there's only ever going to be one winner. The Champions League Final is the 19th and I heard that the Scottish Cup Final might get moved to Sunday 19th? Nae point worrying just now, although the arguments have started....

    Scottish Cup 2012

I'm not jumping the gun here, but when is the final? Please tell me it's not the 19th of May.

    Vs Hearts

I'm going to miss this due to work. Raging!! A point wouldn't be a disaster provided we beat Hibs. Despite a phenomenal season this is still Motherwell though so who knows?!?!
  9. Looking forward to the game on Saturday. I actually agree with MJC quite a lot of the time but surely tae fuck we will win this? I know what he's saying though, and in no way am I complacent, and I'm sure the players won't be either? Anything other than a win would be complete disaster though. Last time we played Morton in the cup was the Malpas season and although we weren't playing well at the time (understatement!!), we did have McDonald. We also had McCormack and Clarkson but they weren't how they would appear on paper...either way we are a much better team now. How does the present Morton team compare to that one?
  10. Disappointed that the club accepted a bid of 250k for one of our brightest prospects with 18 months still left on his contract. If rumours are to be believed. Which they really shouldn't.
  11. You're not the only one that thinks that. A pittance considering the money flying about in England just now.
  12. Hutchison isnae away n'aw is he???
  13. Would be disappointed if Murphy left but even more so if it was for less than 500k.
  14. Pretty much. If stay away fans can't make the effort to get along to Fir Park these days then they never will. I'm sure they will be at the away leg if we make Europe again/cup final though. These folk annoy me more than the abuse shouters. There are literally thousands of stay away fans (you can't even call them "fair weather" fans anymore as I can't remember our league position ever being this consistently high) compared only about a dozen abuse shouters.
  15. Haven't enjoyed a game as much all season and I'm still really buzzing about not only the goals but the effort all the players showed.
  16. The penalty needs to be looked at by the compliance officer.

    Ojamaa

    I love him.
  18. Jesus wept. I don't believe for a second that Regan means a word of that reply.
  19. The injustice of the nonsense has got my back up more than anything else football related for a while now. I find Daryl Broadfoots tweets jaw droppingly inappropriate and unproffessional for the SFA press officer to be making. Not too surprising from him though since he once described the Motherwell support as "the most cretinous in the league".
  20. An absolutely huge 3 points for a variety of reasons and even more impressive considering we played with only 10 men for over 70 minutes. The red card is still inconclusive at best from TV footage and it is worth remembering Craigan has never been sent off in an SPL game in his career (and only once in a Scottish Cup game v Killie about 6 years ago) and you don't earn that statistic on luck alone. He is not a dirty player. Whenever there is a red card issued to non Old Firm player I always ask myself " would a Rangers or Celtic player been shown a straight red there?" And there's yer answer...The same question can be asked for Higdons ridiculous possible ban.
  21. Major major questions need to be asked about how this total non event was even brought to the compliance officers attention in the first place. The game is well and truly a bogey for this to be even considered a banning offence.
  22. "Trial by Sportscene". The baws on the slates.
  23. McCall makes a very valid point and one I was wondering myself.
  24. Stokes "gestured" to the East Stand after he scored a couple of months ago and nothing was said. It's not for The Sun and certainly not fucking Sportscene to try and influence which alleged crimes are to be reviewed! That's not how it's going to work though is it? The biggest story from Tannadice on Saturday was the penalty we didn't get!!
