This Higdon "gesture" is a complete non story! I can't believe it's even being discussed by fans or media as such. Barely worthy of mention and I hope to fuck he doesn't get done.

I'd start with the team and formation that ended the game today as that's the most likely we've looked to score a goal in months!

Quick summary. Ojamaa changed the game when he came on and surely has to start on Tuesday?!?!? Before that we had huffed and puffed and although Randolph kept us in it with with a few great saves we were never out of it. Higdon played very well today. Wrestled with big baby heid (who had a shocking lunge on Murphy) throughout and scored a good goal which was cut back by Ojamaa when it looked like a lost cause. His hold up play and touch was great and even his biggest critics (and I've not been convinced to be honest) would have to concede that. The ref denied us what looked like an absolute stonewaller at the end of the game. I thought all our penalty shouts last weekend were of the "seen them given" variety, but it beggars belief that one wasn't given today. The guy is a fucking clown. So....a good point and one we would've settled for before but nothing less than 3 points will do against the Pars.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment of the thread, I can't agree that there has been a barrage of OTT abuse being shouted at our players. Moans are more audible due to the non existent atmosphere at Fir Park these days, but by and large the entire crowd sit on their hands. It's brutal. I would also disagree that our fans are "the worst in the league". We certainly have our idiots who know nothing about football whose moans are more audible than usual due to the aforementioned shite atmosphere, but which club doesn't? I would also disagree that our home form "hasn't been the best of late". I believe the correct phrase we are looking for is "fucking torture since August 7th v Hearts". There was a guy behind me on Saturday whom in response to the unreasonable moaning a few people were aiming at Higdon responded with sarcastic "fuck sake Higdon" shouts when Higdon wasn't even nearly involved with the move that broke down!!! In short, if you hear a negative comment being shouted, shout a positive one twice as loud!!! Or sit in silence.... Out of interest, what is worse? A fan that turns up every week and makes the odd negative comment? Or a fan that only turns up for cup finals/european games?

Worst result of the season and I can't say I'm even remotely surprised. I've only been to 2 away games this season (Love street, and Tynecastle) but I've been to every home game and Inverness, Hearts and I suppose Celtic aside, not only have the tactics been completely ineffective, it has been absolutely torture to watch. No wins at home in 4 months, 7 goals in 10 games, 3 of which were on the first game of the season, so that's 4 goals in 9 games! That's fucking embarrassing. How many points do people think we will get from our games in hand? The writing has been on the wall for months so when will the penny drop for McCall?

Great post Diggle. How come every other team in the league can either take some of this Rangers team, or at least make a fist of it, yet we are routinely humiliated? Even with a strike force of Healy and Fleck!!!! It's beyond a joke now. The defending for the 3rd goal was embarrassing.

Even although I fully expect us to get gubbed, I'll still be disappointed if we do. Quite a few teams have taken points of Rangers this season so why shouldn't we?

If we even take 4 points from our 2 games in hand then we're still sitting pretty. 6 would be better but no less than 4. I actually think even our place in the top 6 isn't completely assured.

Foran and O'Brien are great players and we would be an infinitely better team if they were still with us. In my opinion. Of course they had their flaws, but which player doesn't? I can't believe people on here are slating them, but then that's fitba I suppose.

Last nights Sportscene had Jim Goodwin as the guest! I find this incredibly innappropriate given his recent thuggery and subsequent ban and that's probably the reason he was even on. Worse still, Rob McLean joked that he should've hit Jennings harder and they both shared a laugh about it!! Wtf?!?!

If we fail to win this we don't deserve to finish 3rd and I honestly don't think we will. (win that is).

A quick swatch at the league table will tell you that everything is going magnificently but there won't be a single Well fan returning from Tynecastle today who isn't absolutely beeling at that shite served up today. We could still be playing and still not look like scoring.
