Don't think I could handle losing tonight and on Saturday. Got the fear a bit now.
-
As long as we win!!!
-
Quite looking forward to the game actually. This all might change after 5 minutes though. Who knows which Motherwell team will turn up, although I fear it will be the rubbish one!! Never the less, I'll be cheering them on and hoping for a decent turnout from the Motherwell fans as this is a season (possibly history?!?!?!) defining game.

Oh bloody hell!!!
-
It feels like we never win these "must win" games!! 2 or 3 (not sure the Rangers spoiler in 1997 counts ) must win wins in 18 years ain't great though!
-
All the usual one like the final and semi final replay in 1991, the league cup semi at Easter Road, Skippy Sunday, the one against Celtic where Jamie Dolan played in goals and Ian Ross scrambled in the winner. 2 always stand out for me. 3-1 v Hearts in the Scottish Cup in 1999. Brannan, Coyle and Tony Thomas! I really thought we were going to win the cup that year. 2-1 v Aberdeen in 2008 in the game that clinced European football. I don't think I've ever wanted to win a game so much and the elation at Porters goal will live with me forever. Probably the only "must win" game that we've actually won! Special mention to the home game v Odense. What an atmosphere in the build up.

I think it's very interesting there are no Dundee Utd players in the Scotlands squad for these games. I smell a rat, but no journalist will be brave enough to report it or ask Levein. Bet you any money the above named players are all in the next squad.

Can't see anything other than a defeat. Possibly a heavy one.

Despite it being on a Sunday, despite it being a 1:15pm kick off and despite us being woeful I'm heading up for this. I'm fully expecting another lacklustre performance but desperately hoping to be proved wrong. We do have it in us to beat them, but who knows which Motherwell team will show up. At least we won't go out the cup to lower league opposition this season.

If we can afford to play some decent stuff then when are we going to start playing it?
-
Normal service resumed then.
-
Wouldn't sniff at a point in this one. Who knows which Motherwell will turn up though!

A lot of very harsh opinions on Reynolds here. Of course he wasn't without his faults, but always gave his best and conducted himself in a dignified and professional manner when the big move to Rangers fell through. He probably would've wanted a move out of Motherwell a couple of seasons ago but never went moaning to the press. His lack of bookings and clean sheets records would hint at how useful a player he was/is. Hope he goes on to do well in England. Re Sheffield Wednesday. Felt sorry for them when they lost both Cup Finals in 1993. A huge club with a huge following and would hope to see them back in the Championship at least very soon. Would be a bit of a disaster for Sheffield if Sheffield United slipped down into League 1 too.

Harsh on Craigan in my opinion, although he is of course, like all our players, not without his faults. We need more guys like Craigan, Lasley and Hammell and from previous years Clarkson, ie guys that know what playing for Motherwell is all about and are real Motherwell men. That said if Gunning and Hutchison were to retain their places I wouldn't be outraged.
-
WOW!!! Where did that come from? Delighted to be well and truly proved wrong.
-
I doubt the players read these message boards and even if they do they're just going to need to suck up the criticism as too many of them are picking up a wage for nothing this season.
-
I'm flattered, I didn't think anyone paid any attention to anything I said!
-
I'll be delibrately missing my first Celtic game at Fir Park since before we won the cup. If the players don't give a fuck why should I? No goals from open play against the worst two teams in the league? Celtic could easily win this 8 or 9-0.
-
This is a much much worse result than the 6-0 at Ibrox. If the (largely shite) players obviously can't be arsed when why should I/we? This Sundays entirely inconvenient kick off had me shuffling all my plans around at the last minute in order to make the game. Fuck that, what is the point? We now have baffling formation line ups to add into the extemely questionable capabilities and effort topped off by watching it played on a pitch resembling congealed porridge! This will be the first Celtic game at Fir Park I've missed since before we won the cup! That is how utterly scunnered I have become with the pish we have been subjected to. 5, 6, 7-0 on Sunday quite easily.
-
Well surprise surfuckingprise. An absolutely embarrassing result to lose to that shite and the players should be utterly ashamed of themselves. Fuck trudging along to watch this shite anymore. I'm done with it.
-
A win of any sorts would be great! Don't see where people are getting 4-0/5-0 from, we're not even approaching clinical enough for that. It'll be a struggle and it'll be decided by the odd goal.....for either team!
-
The pitch looks terrible and it plays worse. Sometimes the ball bounces on it, sometimes it doesn't. Players are having to take extra touches to compensate and almost second guess what the ball might do and it's painful to watch. Other pitches, but not all, are just as bad though and seem to be immune to criticism. There's a goalkeeping howler, if the goalie doesn't take a touch (and on one occassion on Saturday Randy didnae!) just around the corner for some team.

Apart from the first 10 minutes we controlled the game and thoroughly deserved the win. That said 1-0 is a very precarious lead to attempt to defend and there were a few nervy minutes towards the end. Accies were absolutely atrocious and made no attempt to win the game. The late, high and clumsy tackles should've been clamped down on and we could've seen them forced into altering their tactics. Was hilarious to see their timewasting start after about 10 minutes and then the speed at which they upped it to as the game wore on!

Always dread games against St Mirren as they are rarely as straight foward as the league table would suggest they should be. As Diggle says, we'll have to be more clinical if we're to win. Have given up trying to predict the scores in Motherwell games, but a defeat really would not be good.
