The conditions were absolutely horrific and as a result the outcome was always going to be about which team adapted to it best and wanted the win more. I thought a draw was a fair result and we showed a reasonable ammount of effort, especially in the 2nd half. Randolph and Hutchinson were our best players. Hutchinson nearly cost us the game but that aside looked more assured and deliberate in anything he did than pretty much anyone else on the pitch. Shaming his more experienced team mates in the process! Do we have anyone else waiting in the wings that can play like that? If so it is crimminal that haven't had a look in when so much of the regular starting 11 have been under performing so badly. Whatever we offered Hateley in the summer should've been offered on top of what we offered to Giles Coke as he is exactly what we need right now. I would have Page in before Hateley who is absolutely heartless, at right back versus Hibs. Shouting abuse at our own players won't do anyone any good, but I can't see us winning many games with Forbes at left midfield. Even with time (ie corners, freekicks) his delivery was shocking. Speaking of shocking delivery, I'm still not convined Humphrey is a footballer. That cross he attempted in the 89th minute was shameful. It's a sorry state of affairs when you see professional footballers attempting things and knowing that you can do better. There is so much wrong with the Motherwell team at the moment, and the root of it lies with Brown and Knox shafting us. 5 defeats, 3 draws and only 4 goals in our last 8 SPL games. The rot has to stop.

Wholesale changes needed in my opinion. Too many players have not shown enough heart, determination and desire for too long now. Time to see what Hutchinson, Page, Meechan and Pollock can do. Whatever team McCall puts out Murphy has to play through the middle. He's wasted on the wing. I predict a defeat, Foran will play a blinder and folk will still come on here and claim he's pish.

Getting beat at Tannadice isn't just cause for a complete meltdown. Although we'd won the odd game up there over the years, historically it's never been a happy hunting ground. As Billy Bremner said "there is no shame is not winning, as long as you tried with your last breath to avoid defeat". By the sounds of it very few of the Motherwell players can say that last night, and really not at all since Brown and Knox left. The players probably miss Brown and Knox who were undoubtably a huge influence but too many are cheating the fans with their shite lax attitude. I would keep Randolph, Saunders, Hammell, Lasley, Jennings and Murphy. The rest I wouldn't care if they never pull on a Motherwell shirt again. On paper our squad is very poor and without any heart or fight we are fast getting sucked into the fight at the bottom. It is absolute madness to continue to persist with the current line up when they have performed so poorly in recent weeks. Get Page, Hutchison, Meechan and McHugh in and see what they can do. At least they might boot folk if we're getting beat.

What a great result. I don't think any of us predicted that with any great confidence but not complaining. I feel a bit guilty for not going, which is a step up from the apathy I've felt in recent weeks. Very encouraged by the fact the formation appears to suit all the players again and I agree that Murphy up front is definately the best place to play him. Special mention to some of the challenges Dundee put in. Absolutely shocking. Not just the two obvious ones, but some of the other ones throughout the game were late and dangerous. Bravo for the ref for managing to book 2 Motherwell players in the melee for hee haw.

The baw is well and truly on the slates with Scottish fitba and even Motherwell. My interest is at an all time low, to the point where I don't give a fuck anymore. The referees having the audacity of the refs to go on strike due to the criticism they receive (rightly so) only for us to witness the most inept refereering performnce in years v Hearts and incredibly a betting scam emerges about Jennings and nothing else from that game. The wee wank of a linesman who disallowed Forbes goal last season then allowing Millers to stand on Boxing Day. Us getting O'Reilly again for Accies game. I'll not be there to watch yet another lower league club knock us out the cup. Been to Dens 4 times in my life and we've drawn one and lost 3 of these so with that record you'll be pleased I won't be going. Maybe if the players gave a fuck and/or could actually pass the ball to each other things would be different....
