    Odense 2nd Leg

That sums it up for me as painful as it is. The phrase "tragically flawed" has an all to familiar ring to it sadly.
  2. Huge crowd and they go home disappointed again. Happens every single time.
  3. If it was the Gow that played with Falkirk a couple of years ago then great. The Gow that signed for Hibs last year didn't look great though.
  4. Have to take a point at least from this really or we could start to panic about where the first points are going to come from! Killie apparently did quite well at Ibrox but that can't concern us.
  5. I saw his old team FC Brussels Molenbeek play St Truidens when I was in Belgium a few years ago. I thought it was a decent game, although these teams were at the wrong end of the league and I think both have since been relegated.
  6. I was desparate for a signing, and more so for a striker but this thread has possibly crawed him before he's even kicked a ball in anger!! Hopefully he's more Lukas Jutkiewicz/Chris Porter than Paul Keegan/Said Chiba!!!
  7. Ah, the predictions begin. Who knows? I am absolutely certain we will get beat though.
  8. Nothing on official site yet but just phoned the club and although tickets have not arrived yet, the club are taking money and issueing receipts for tickets which can either be collected at a later date or mailed out to you. Not ideal but receipt at least means you have a ticket. Will mean another trip and possible long queue or sweating over the mail!!
  9. Panic over then. I'll get my coat.... Apologies if my panicing has offended anyone but perhaps if that member of staff had alluded to the fact the tickets might be arriving and but also had infact been despatched, and explained that, as opposed to being dismissive and sounding irritated by my straight forward politely posed question, then ones knickers would've remained in a state of untwist. If that's even a word.
  10. Spoke to someone at the ticket office there. The tickets might be coming tomorrow but they're not certain of that or what time they might arrive. They also don't know how many they're getting. I don't think this is good enough to be honest, especially if there's going to be a scrabble and passports required etc to get them. How many people can afford to take anymore time of work to go and stand in a queue all day?

    Ins & Outs

Agreed. The squad at present isn't nearly big enough or good enough for the season ahead and based on what we have right now, if that's all we have to go with then it's going to be a very long season.

    Ins & Outs

Our lack of signings is frankly shocking and we are quite right to voice our concerns about this. I can't think of a single season in my lifetime (with the notable exception of 2002/2003) where we haven't signed at least 1 outfield player in the summer. One or two injuries/suspensions and we are fucked. Coke, Jutkiewicz and O'Brien had signifcicant to massive impacts on our season and all still need replaced and we appear to be no further forward on this.
  13. Thanks for that Jakob. Hopefully Motherwell will announce something very soon also!
  14. No information anywhere about this. We're all booked up to the last detail and I'm a bit concerned about the clubs not being able to meet the travelling 'Well fans demands.

    Ins & Outs

Is the fact that this thread had been knocked of the first page an indication that we aren't even close to signing anyone?

    Ins & Outs

Who thinks we'll start the season with no new signings? I'm getting more than a tad concerned.
  17. Booked up earlier!! Had commitments on the Wednesday so flying out of Manchester to Copenhagen on the Thursday morning about 7am after driving down throughout the night. Flying home Copenhagen to Manchester on the Friday afternoon. Going to be absolutely burst physically and financially by the end of it, but it has to be done.
  18. Due to other commitments, if I'm to go it'll have to be the morning of the game then back on the Friday at somepoint. Anyone else in the same situation? I have found flights from Manchester to Copehagen on the Thursday morning, then back Friday lunchtime. Does anyone know if you have to book your train from Copehagen to Odense in advance? Probably be doing this myself unless anyone else is under the same restrictions. I fear the charter (if there is one) would be leaving on the Wednesday morning which is nae use to me. Would be good to tag a lift home on it though!!
  19. The complete lack of pressure we were putting on the ball when under the cosh in the 2nd half was crimminal. We sat back and allowed them to stroll into our half for long periods. Our defense can't play that well every week to get us out of jail.
  20. I agree with Well Well. Hateley and Lasley were very poor.
  21. Well, that went much better than I thought it would I must admit. Great start and what a goal from Murphy!! I thought the entire back 5 were outstanding and Craigan and Reynolds never gave 2 metre Peter a sniff. That said, the entire 2nd half I thought we didn't put nearly enough pressure on the ball and Hateley and Humphrey in particular were terrible I thought. We were unable to retain possession for any longer than 2 passes. Our creativity in the final 3rd is non- existant. Great win though, for if anything, it should make some money available to bring in at least one new player.
  22. The entire back 5 were magnificent last night. Absolutely magnificent. And they had to be as the midfield looked completely lost for the entire 2nd half!
  23. He was fucking brilliant last night.
  24. I have a feeling too many Motherwell fans (bizarrely!) think this is in the bag. I predict we will attempt to play for 0-0 and get caught out.
