I've got a huge ammount of time for Paw Broon but the mixed messages and ever changing budget altering variables that are seemingly occuring are worrying me. We need another 3 players to the quality of Coke, Jutkiewicz and O'Brien in if we are even to tread water.

I think it's fantastic the General Manager of the club we support has taken time to respond to a thread on a fans message board. How many other clubs would have people do that? She took the time to post a more than decent informative post, for which she was under no obligation whatsoever to do and for that Leaanne and the club should be commended. Especially since much of the thread is absolute shite and nonsense!

I don't think given the financial constraints that we can afford to sign another right back considering the options we have that could play there. Jutkiewicz and O'Brien need replaced with as close to as possible same quality. A left midfielder would also be desirable. Failure to do so with the first two especially has me quite worried. Our squad on paper at the moment looks a damn site healthier than the one that took to the field v Llanelli in Airdrie last season, but there's not much creativity in it for the long haul.

I see they've moved the opening game v Hibs and home game ve Celtic to noon kick offs on the Sunday!!! What the fuck?!?! Absolute bullshit if you ask me. I would greet if Clarkson signed for another SPL side. I would hope he might stick it out with Bristol City for another season, before returning to us!

I'm worried, but not panicing...yet! Every summer there is always something different to worry about and when you think about all the great players that we have lost in recent years you always worry how they will be replaced, but we somehow muddle through. We worried when McFadden, Pearson, McDonald, Porter, McCormack, Paterson, Lappin, Clarkson, Quinn etc all left. Ruddy, O'Brien and Jutkiewicz can now be added to that list. Next season it will be another set and so on.

Disappointed about Ruddy and Coke, but had kinda given up on both of them anyway. I think we will miss both of them as well as O'Brien and Jutkiewicz a helluva lot. It scares me in fact! I liked the cut of their gibs.

The lack of shirt sponsor is a worry. If this was a common complaint throughout the league then fair enough, but it doesn't appear to be.

I too am worried about the loss of Jutkiewicz, Ruddy and O'Brien (and to a lesser extent Coke) but we are in a much better state playerwise than we were this time last year when McGhee left us down to worse than the bare bones.

Nah, Klimpl can beat it. I bought a Slovakian flag and everything for the swine! Good news about the goalie if it comes to pass. Bad about Giles but I had resigned myself to it anyhoo. I think if he puts his mind to it he could be quite a player.
