I must admit I'm not impressed by the calibre of players that we are currently courting, but as someone said, who are we to moan about that? If the guys turn out to be gems then even better. Broon and Archie obviously think they might have something to offer. It's hard to predict for certain, but Broon or any other manager we are going to have in the future is going to have to go some way to unearth the players Gannon did. Also, I don't think we/Broon can consider McGlinchey to be a loss as such. How many minutes did he actually spend on the pitch, and further more out of them how many did he actually look good or even do anything? Not many.

It's quite a reasonable price actually.

I won't make this one due to it being far too expensive for a 2-3 day holiday. Hopefully we'll beat them and get a more accessible destination in the next round.

I'm a bit worried too, but a keeper and a striker is all we really need in my opinion. Two names spring to mind, but that's not going to happen by the looks of it. The names of Ross and Deuchar also fill me with dread, but lets just wait and see what happens as it's not the massive rebuilding job that was required last summer.

However in the interests of the club,with regards to Hateley and Coke, it appears to be quite clear they don't want to be here for various reasons so hunt them and get folk in who do want to be here so we can plan and move forward. The signing of Jack Ross does not fill me with confidence that this is the direction the club should be going in. Where did the rumour that Broon was about to chuck it come from?

We are going to be without O'Brien and most probably (although I'm still hoping something can be agreed) Ruddy, Jutkiewicz, Hateley, and Coke. That's 5 quality players (or at the very least ones with great potential) we will be without so they have to be replaced with players of similar or at least decent ability. Failure to do so and it doesn't take a genius to work out how the season is going to go.

I like the look of McHugh and if it stops the Old Firm stealing the best talent for peanuts then bleating about how the progress in Europe is hammpered due to lack of competition in the SPL then all the better. I'm resigned to the fact that Hateley and Coke are away or they would've signed by now. A bit to quite disappointed by this but if that's the way it is then fuck them. If they don't want to be here/have got ideas above their station then get them tae. A goalie (preferably Ruddy) a striker (preferably Jutkiewicz) and a right back are priorities. Replacing O'Brien would also be great.
