I must admit I don't rate Fitzy but felt very sorry for him when that happened to him on Saturday. Would be delighted if he went onto prove myself and countless other wrong.

A few pages back someone said McCarthur got a good report on the radio? That just sums up the knowledge of the Scottish media! He was by far the worst player on the pitch! Did nothing the entire game, a few body checks and moaning aside.

I thought we were the better team throughout although sat far too deep and lived a bit too dangerously for my liking in the latter stages. The pitch looks very very bad but Accies can have no complaints as they tried to play very little football. Special mention to the "next big thing" James McCarthur who did absolutely fuck all for the entire game. He is kidding himself if he thinks he can play with a bigger team in a better league. It wasn't pretty but an absolutely fantastic result!!!

As much as John Spencer possibly does deserve criticism for later displays, for the period from when he arrived and made his debut against Rangers (and scored the winner) up to the league win at Tynecastle in January a few months later, when he signed a permanent contract, he was one of the best players I've ever seen in a 'Well strip.

Well done! Thoroughly deserved. Does this not usually mean we now go on a terrible run though?

After the recent run of impressive results you would think I would be tempted to finally predict a win....not so. We're doing quite well and Accies are not, but we shouldn't fall into the trap of believing this will be a routine home win. I'm sure Craig and Archie will be emphasising this. A draw for me.

From watching a lot of old videos and dvds of players from the pasts exploits, Kirk certainly had a lot more in his locker than some would give him credit for. A lot of nice touches and flicks, and brave aswell.

I'd go as far as to say Kirk was under-rated. Anyway.....

It seems to me that whenever we sell a player to Celtic that it's on their terms! That's wrong! If they want him, we should dictate when and how much they go for, and if that doesn't suit them, then come back with a significantly improved offer. Or better still, just fuck off.

Mark Brown was a good young keeper that made one half mistake in a 2-2 draw with Rangers, was dropped by Eric Black and never played again. He was doing a job for us and could've went on to continue to do a job (In my opinion!)

It's an absolute travesty that we accepted a no sell on fee attached to the sale of McDonald.

I would also be gutted to see Clarkson in an Aberdeen strip.

The last 10 years perhaps? Wins at Pitoddrie are relatively rare, nevermind 3-0 wins. It's certainly up there with the 4-0 at Tannadice.

From the highlights it certainly looked like the Falkirk players were trying to get Coke sent of. They have an absolute cheek to complain about hefty tackles after the performance they put in at Fir Park last year. McBride had one on Hammell that should've been a straight red and he didn't even get booked! I would have no problem with Falkirk getting relegated. Fuck them!

He's not had a proper run of games yet. I think if he got that we would see the best of him. He has looked good on occassions, but at times has looked a bit slow also.

To be honest I thought Swansons was a shocker that day and it was lucky Lasley wasn't badly hurt.

After watching the highlights, it was a hefty tackle from Coke for sure, but I've seen worse tackles that didn't result in a straight red. Not being there it's difficult to know how accurately the highlights reflect the true balance of the game, but it certainly looked as if we survived by the skin of our teeth at times, and against the team at the bottom of the league this doesn't inspire too much confidence in me.

As always I'd bit your hand off for anything from Pitoddrie. Can't see it this weekend, but I honestly don't think Aberdeen are that good despite some great results. Can they play that well again 3 days later? Let's hope not!

A bit disappointing with Falkirk being bottom of the league but I also believe a point away from home is never too shabby. And considering we only had 10 men for 45 minutes then perhaps even more so.
