  1. Completely and utterly disagree with that for a kick off and whilst i agree with the gist of what and who Jim Gannon is having a go at, please just stick to Motherwell related matters. Leave the commenting on all and sundry to McGhee and the likes.
  2. Is that it? Not a lot to go on is it?
  3. Jim - Why has Jim O'Brien gone from being a star performer on the pitch to being a sub virtually over night? Can we read into this that he will not be here in January
  4. Part of me feels that aswell and with Celtic allegedly hitting some form, and us feeling like the wheels are off our bus, it's difficult to see by it. History shows we are more likely to get a result when the odds are stacked against us though so here's hoping!
  5. I would be very sorry and disappointed to see O'Brien go. McGhee deserves to be slaughtered for tapping a player still under contract. Nae chance of that though. Anyway, I'd take Jody Morris and Philip Morias off St Johnstones hands. I think they're both excellent players.
  6. They can also spare us the is pish about not being bothered themselves, but concerned for the Motherwell fans!
  7. Do you think that O'Brien's recent stint on the bench has got anything to do with the possible move to Aberdeen? He was on a good run of form prior to this story breaking aswell!

    Well Flags

We have a cracking big flag. Made up of 4 smaller flags, 3 of which are saltires with Motherwell badges in the middle. It was in Nancy next to the fountain and in Wales and has been at umpteen games over the years, but it generally it is a pain in the arse to take. That said, I think it might have to make an appearance again soon....
  9. Would take a point to be honest, even although we really need to start winning games.
  10. Absolutely. Even if Gannon was in the wrong (and he's not as far as I'm concerned), he's rattled the cage of that slimy bastard Hugh Keevins et al and that's good enough for me.
  11. I don't think he's saying his opinion is better than yours, there is no such thing as a "better" opinion. It's a well thought out post countering you points. Whether you, or anyone else agrees with it is another thing of course.....
  12. Brines is an absolute joke of a ref. And he's a polis! We have been on the recieving end of some particularly bad performances from him over the years.

    Cup Draw

Call me cynical, but I can't/don't get excited about cups anymore. I predict another early exit with a whimper once again. Even if we win this one.
  14. Hopefully Hutchinson can get over this an get a good unterupted run going. He looks a fantastic prospect (the new Shaun Teale?!) but at the moment it's been very stop and start for him. Hopefully he's not going to be injury prone.
  15. I'd rather it was off as I can't make it, and Hutchison is probably still out!!
  16. This much is true also to be fair.
  17. Obviously 1 win in 6 doesn't make for good reading and with the next 4 games coming up being against the best 4 teams in the league it really could be 1 win in 10!!! All if's but's and maybes, who knows what will happen. Of course there is room or improvement in some areas , but on the whole this isn't bad going at all at the moment is it?
  18. Gannon's comments in the programme are spot on. At last, someone who will come out and have a go at the hacks and the shite they write.
  19. If we allow Utd's centre halves to advance into our half like we did against Aberdeen, give them time to turn like we did against Aberdeen, put no pressure on the ball like we did Aberdeen and defend as deep as we did against Aberdeen then we'll get fucked. Address those issues and you never know however.

    Keith Lasley

Lasley would be in my starting 11 every week at the moment. Our complete inability to put pressure on the ball and close players down cost us on Saturday, I would like to think Lasley could offer that. And aye to Clarky and Quinn.

    Aberdeen

Time and time and time again we didn't put any pressure on the ball when they had it. We sat off them and didn't get tight enough at any stage allowing them time to play their pass. Looked very disorganised at times with no-one picking up. We didn't heed theses warnings and it was no surprise when they finally equalised. In the end lucky to get a point, but on another day could just have easily have won it.

    Aberdeen

Gannon has quite rightly came out and had a go at McGhee for courting O'Brien and for trying to influence situations via the media. Good for him! McGhee hasn't been shy in spouting his "butter woulnae melt" pish either. Only one way to shut him up, and as someone said earlier, really hoping him and Leitchs journey back North is a very very long one. No idea what the team or score will be though!

    Chris Humphrey

That's a disaster that Hutchinson is still out imo. Still Saunders and Reynolds have been playing very well.

    Aberdeen

Don't see this anywhere so here goes.... Biggest game of the season so far for me and well up for it. Would love a win like in no other thus far. Hasn't been any press on the injuries that blighted the Accies game, but if fit I'd play Ruddy Yassin Hutch Reynolds Hammell O'Brien Jennings Lasley Humphrey The Juke Sutton Possibly a bit unfair on some to miss out and I can't for the life of me see Gannon dropping Coke, Forbes and Hateley, but I think the midfield could do with a bit more dig. Who knows what the score will be? It's too hard to call these days! Please, please, please let's have a win though.
