I’m not demanding we sign an unrealistic level of player but a bit disappointing/worrying we feel Simon Murray is a player we want, and are willing to pay for. I’ve never rated him. Mainly because he’s utter keech!

Based on what I seen Ciftci do in a Motherwell shirt I don’t think he contributed enough to deserve a permanent deal. I don’t actually think he contributed anymore than Faddy did in his last season! At Utd he was sensational at times so you kept hoping he might get there eventually. I don’t know.... if we can get him for a year on a wage that doesn’t break what we pay then hopefully after a good pre-season he could be the X factor that gives us an edge.

I think we’re missing a trick not getting Aldred on a permanent deal but it’s probably not as straight forward as that. It’s been pointed out to me that he is still under contract at Bury, his wages will almost certainly be beyond what we can pay and he might not actually want to stay in Scotland. He’s hardly put a foot wrong since he came in though.

Total anti climax after all that build up that even had me believing we could/would do it! First half was atrocious, second much better but still not enough. Bigi made a massive difference. I thought the ref was poor but pointless shouting at him from so far away. Some amount of shirtless steaming toothless mutants in our support that hardly watched the game and just wandered about! Embarrassing. Never seen half these guys at a game in my life. Still, at least we didn’t have a visual display in support of Hamas.

What a send off the players got today! Fantastic stuff! I am an absolute shambles today! I suspect sadly, probably, Celtic will have too much on the day but “it’s a funny ol’ game” as Greavsie used to say. I agree with that but Robinson is “damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t” by playing the strongest team every game in the lead up. Especially as we have 3 games in a week and are also safe. 3rd time we’ve been 3-0 down at ht this season and bizarrely none of those games have been v the better sides.
