A really good similar discussion happening over on P&B on this subject also. Like others have said, the post semi final press conference was as comprehensive a smack down of our compliant media as you will ever see! I possibly stood up and applauded after watching it, and then watched it again! I’m really pleased our form since the break as been decent as despite the mitigating circumstances I think Robinson was under a bit of pressure after December.

3500 is a very decent away support. Hopefully our fans turn up as well (and our players!) The replay v Utd that time was indeed a great night. I loved Murphy’s opener. Such a shame what happened to him! As for other cup games v Hearts, the one in 1999 when Ged Brannan opened the scoring with a beauty is a personal favourite of mine.

Would take a point here to be honest. I’d start with Bowman instead of Ciftci. I think Shinnie and Christie will be back for them unfortunately.

Great to get the win but apart from the 3 centre half’s, quite a few ineffective performances. The ref was absolutely atrocious (particularly when he ignored Caulker throwing Main to the ground twice in quick succession) then ignored a really strong penalty for Dundee in the 90th minute! I don’t think either goalie had a save to make. Big bowman was superb when he came on. Ciftci offered nothing I’m afraid.

Decent goal but that’s the only 2 passes we’ve strung together all game. Poor stuff all round. Very lethargic and no movement off the ball. Dundee probably had more of the ball but so far did nothing with it. I’d take Ciftci off for Bowman at ht and the rest need a shake.

I said a while back that from our 4 games in February v St Johnstone, Patrick, Killie and Dundee that we should be looking to take a minimum of 7 points. Were in 4 at the moment so its still achievable. Anything less than 7 and its a really poor haul v our peer group. Defeat here and Id say we were back in the mix at the bottom. Hopefully Campbell and Kipre are back.

Sportscene inexplicably fail to show Ciftcis penalty shout! Other 2 claims were stonewallers which I didnt realise at the time. Thats an absolute sickener! Yet another piss poor ref!

If we lose at at Dens next week Id say were unfortunately back in the mix.

2-1 to Dundee now and Killie down to 10 men! Not sure how that effects us as on the one hand it at least keeps Killie below us, butbon the other hand its a massive boost for Dundee as they pull away from the bottom. Killie are missing Jones through suspension though and Mulumbo through injury. No doubt both will play v us on Saturday though!

Killie have been a revelation since Clarke took over but weve hit a bit of form since the winter break also. With Kipre suspended and Hartley injured our backline is severely weakened, Campbell may be out still also, I fear that Killie will have too much. You never know though.

As others have said, the Sportscene coverage was a disgrace and it looks like yet another bad decision costing us a goal! If the elbow off the ball was as blatant as some are suggesting, surely thats one for the compliance officer? Or does that only happen when Spotscene highlight it? Hmmmmm......
